A pretty little village with occasional ponies on the village green. That also has a few nice pubs, cafes and shops.
Lovely village with great pubs for food. You can sit outside in the gardens and eat great food with the moor all around! A must see Dartmoor granite village and drive through the beautiful moor to get there!
Lovely village with two excellent cafes offering lunch and wonderful cream teas. There are two pubs, the New Inn and the Rugglestone which both do good food and have pretty gardens. There is also a small shop selling supplies, a working forge and a National Trust shop attached to the church.
Most famous village in Dartmoor, due to the nursery rhyme “Uncle Tom Cobley” about Widecombe Fair. Picturesque. Interesting church. Lovely walks around, with spectacular views. Excellent cafe: Cafe on the Green. Good pub at Rugglestone nearby.
