It’s a good but fairly easy walk

A hill that's only 3 miles away walking It's high enough to be interesting, and to see a long way if it's clear weather...... but it's not a huge mountain and there's a path all the way to the top.

Approximately 3 mile walk with an elevation of just over 1800ft. Large hillfort. Impressive views from the top.

You will be sleeping just under this ancient Hill Fort. A real must to climb, largest fort in Scotland with vitrified ramparts.

Climb up to the prominent peak of the Tap o' Noth, site of the second highest hillfort in Scotland. The remains are impressive, and the views over rural Aberdeenshire are superb. It’s a relatively steep climb from the car park, but good trail to the top, 563m elevation.
