A popular beach for swimmers and more experienced surfers - it is rated as one of the best surfing beaches in the world. There are a number of public footpaths nearby including the walk to Baggy Point, which offers spectacular views. Surfboard, bodyboard, wetsuit and equipment hire is available and there is an RNLI Lifeguard service available fromJune to October.

15 min walk from the cottage, has a beach shop, café and surf lessons with Surf South West 01271 890400, dogs not allowed between 1st May – 30th Sept, pay to park.
