“Hop on the ferry from Teignmouth back beach (or drive) and head over to the quiet little village of Shaldon. Grab a bite to eat at the Ferry Boat Inn,check out the few little shops or take a walk up to the Ness House Pub and then hit the Beach. Tip - Quite hard to park in Shaldon - head towards Shaldon Zoo for main carpark. If you want to check out Shaldon's ness beach you access it via a tunnel. If you have a baby, its defiantly worth taking a baby carrier as there are steps down to the secret beach. ”

“This is a newly opened JD Wetherspoon in Teignmouth town center. Fine for a cheap meal and drink - child friendly and has outdoor terrace. ”

“This is our real local - just a hop away from the front door. You'll love to sit outside and watch the boats in the harbour (we also have some very large ships that loom across this view which is always an intriguing things to see). In the winter they put the carpet down and have a wood-burning stove, you can see the harbour whist sipping something warming! Good standard pub fare served here.”
