Where some of Alice in Wonderland was filmed! Sweeping gardens, cafe, always something for the kids to do and an enchanting house. I will admit I'm biased as I volunteer at this house.

Antony House. Still lived in by the Carew family. Beautiful gardens and great tea room - Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland was filmed here in 2008.

“Cafe and sourdough bakehouse. The café is open for breakfast, lunch, home-made cakes, cream teas and coffee. All meals are accompanied with freshly baked sourdough bread from their own bakery. They bake delicious artisan pizzas on Monday from 5.30pm-8pm from April to September and on the last Friday of the month year round. On Sunday they bake "Sunday Snails" - delicious cinnamon buns that come out of the oven at 10am. They run one day "Learning to Bake Sourdough Bread" courses once a month. The course is suitable for everyone, whether you have baked bread before or not. ”
