We had a wonderful time at the cottage at EPH! The cottage was great for our family of 4-- it was stocked with all the essentials, including a few nice breakfast items, which really helped us out check out morning. Sarah and Gerd are amazing hosts. Welcomeing, friendly and helpful. The cottage is spacey, clean and well equiped. The animals on the farm are fantastic for kids. We had a great time there. I absolutly recommend staying at Sarah and Gerds farm.

My husband, sons (6 and almost 4), and I had an amazing time! We loved getting to run around, feed the donkeys, and relax. Sarah was a spectacular host, and we really appreciated that she stocked the fridge for us!

My boyfriend & I rented this place as a last minute getaway. There was plenty of space, gorgeous views, comfy beds, WONDERFUL hosts & very clean! They even had bread, milk, juice, butter, fruits & jam for us to snack on while we stayed! There’s a full kitchen so definitely could have eaten in more than we did - though the barbecue place and French restaurant nearby were both delicious! This place was something special. I went with my two toddlers and they woke up early every day to feed the "baby donkeys". Sara is an excellent host. Her suggestions as what to do around were great. We will definetly consider going back.

Great place to stay.

Sarah's cottage was very cozy, clean and convenient for our stay during the Thanksgiving weekend to visit our family in Barboursville. The location was quiet and close by to Charlottesville, Gordonsville, and Orange for meals and shopping. We also visited the Barboursville Vineyards while we were here.

The cottage was lovely - very comfortable and cozy for my family of 3. It was situated very nicely on the farm, very quiet and peaceful, with lots of space for my little boy to run around. Sarah welcomed us and helped made sure we were settled. We would definitely return!
