Private Lake Farm Cabin, Pets Welcome

The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

Cozy cottage with public boat dock & ramps nearby (boat & kayak rentals as well). Main bedroom has a queen & attached full bathroom. Bunk room sleeps 4 w/ connecting bathroom to main area. Back deck has small table & seating w/ a 6 seater hot tub! Minutes from the famous Kowaliga restaurant & Russell Crossroads (market, diner, horseback riding, etc) yet still secluded! Dogs welcome for a $75 pet fee per stay! Cats are NOT allowed due to allergy issues. $500 fine for parties or smoking.

Welcome to the “Ranch Bunkhouse.” You can live a Lil Yellowstone in your private cabin. Our Ranch Bunkhouse is a rustic, fun, eclectic place with unique flair. This isn't just an overnight stop it's an experience. Stroll thru the small western town we have built on the property. Dogs are our pals and horses are our livestock. Also plenty of lower and upper deck space that makes you feel like you are in the trees. A unique and creative build, that lets you be as close to nature as possible. You have a 1 acre wooded lot, that is completely secluded, all to yourselves. An experience you won't forget. There is no Wifi/ internet!

Clovers Cabin

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

Creekside treehouse with hot tub

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. . Enjoy 4 acres of seclusion adjacent to the Chief Ladiga trail and walking distance to the Pinhoti trail. The main level contains a fully appointed kitchen, half bath, and sleeper couch. Ascend the spiral stairs to the main bedroom with exposed beams and a rustic tin ceiling. Enjoy 3 decks and soak in the scenery or relax in the swinging bed or hottub and listen to the sounds of Little Terrapin Creek.

The Rusty Brick Studio

Come relax at this unique, cozy studio and enjoy a quiet farm setting. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!
