The Swallowtail Cabin is available on a different listing. Butterfly gardens surround the cabins, and wildlife abounds. Over 65 wineries are less than 15 minutes from the Mariposa. An easy drive to Fredericksburg, Blanco, Johnson City, Stonewall, Hye, Albert and Luckenbach. No cleaning fee or check out duties.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on a working ranch. Built in the late 1800's. Immigrant family homestead. The Indians use to meet under the large oak trees in the front yard. The cottage is about a 5 minute drive to town, so you have the advantage of being peacefully out in the country enjoy the dark night sky full of stars. There are 3 AC window units in the Cottage, the Living room, the Master and the Kitchen, the house easily cools to 70 degrees on a hot day.

Known by locals as "The Old Speer Home", this charming home is located within walking distance of historic downtown Blanco. Our place is ideal for couples and solo adventurers.
