Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.

It is steps away from one of Iowa’s natural trout streams Patterson Creek, the recreational playground of the Upper Iowa River, and over 1,000 acres of wild prairie and woodlands managed by the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. Cabin 5 is a 2 BR unit, fully furnished with kitchen and bath, featuring 1 queen and 3 twin beds. It comes fully equipped with everything but your food & drinks. A $25 fee per person is added for parties larger than 4. Max occupancy is 6 adults/children. The area offers numerous activities: year round fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobile trails, motorcycle riding, bicycling, wineries, breweries, Amish Bakeries.
