If these walls could talk...they would share stories about Alpena and the early commercial fishing port that soon after soon grew to be one of the nation’s most profitable lumber harvesting locations. My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

No shooting allowed on property except during deer rifling hunting season.

Lakefront oasis....Beaver Lake is an all sports 665 acre gem, located in northern Michigan. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking or just relaxing on this 77' deep crystal clear inland lake. We have a blue aqua-cycle that guests may use, but we ask that all guests wear life jackets if you do choose to use the aqua-cycle. (life jackets are hanging up in the bedroom closet.)

My place is less than a block from Restaurants, an outdoor Splash Park, and beaches along Lake Huron. Within walking distance is a park with basketball and tennis courts, a bandshell for outdoor concerts in summer and more beach access. If you're looking for a night in, the backyard is private with a firepit and hot tub, or enjoy the game/activity room downstairs.
