Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Ambleside

Everything was perfect and as described..location was ideal and right next to the complex with space for two cars which was great. The facilities in the bungalow were great and having two toilets was worth it. There was an issue with trying to get hot water in the shower where David was rapid in his response, the water did still go cold every now and again but nothing major. Great stay, great communication and will 100% be back for sure. 5 stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great stay. The house was beautiful and right in the beach and by the park. As a family of 5 and a dog Chad made sure we looked after and we felt very welcome. Everything was clean and tidy and made to feel like our own. We all loved it

Absolutely spotless, so clean and tidy. Lots of extra bedding, blankets and sheets. The caravan smelt so lovely and was very well equipt with lots of plates, glasses, cutlery and everything we needed!! There were 2 adults and 6 children and we had lots of space! Diane was a great host and we cant wait to stay again!

We had an amazing weekend at Garry’s place. There’s lots to do in the area but we couldn’t think of a good reason to leave. The property is right on the beach which was very much enjoyed by children and the dog. The house is really well equipped. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy. Lots of space for 4 adults two children and a dog.

a gem of a place, the location was ideal for beach walks and exploring the lakes. utility room is perfect for sorting wet clothes and wetsuits post wild swimming. Cosy, comfortable and perfect for a group of 8 (4 adult and 4 children).

Beautiful house, made to feel really welcome and it was a home from home. Samantha was really helpful and responsive on the build up to our stay. A lovely little surprise for the kids on our arrival with an Easter Egg hunt and some delicious home made scones from the hosts local cafe. Can also recommend a visit to the Cafe Royal. The beach in Fleetwood was really nice, this house was a great base for us.

Having visited Southerness a couple of times before we knew the area was beautiful and had lots to offer but this is by far the best place we've stayed! Compact, clean, cozy and comfortable with stunning views out almost every window! Our young daughter was very taken with 'the little house' and our dog was more than delighted with a decent garden and private access to the beach. Paul and Linda couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed and going above and beyond. We very much look forward to staying again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hosts were super friendly and responsive. I even asked if we could check in earlier to leave bags and they let us do this. The lodge has everything you could need and we found this to be the best lodge, location wise, on the park. The steps lead right down to the lake. We took our kayak and went out several times. The huge balcony which is fully furnished was great to watch the sunset of an evening with a glass of wine! Dog are allowed too which was a huge bonus. The We wouldn’t hesitate to book again! It was a great way to celebrate my birthday! Thanks again

We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

We had a lovely break this Easter bank holiday. The communication was excellent. The caravan was well equipped, clean and well located to haven’s amenities. Children enjoyed the board games. Weather was warm enough to sit out briefly on last day. Outdoor furniture made this a pleasant experience. As a family we’d happily return to explore the area further.

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

what a great air b&b . clean and tidy . we had an issue which was our right within hours. everything was explained in the texts we sent and received . can't rave to much about van, sie ,area and host. what a sea view.

One of the best bnb I stayed so far. Beautiful surroundings. Great view. Neat and clean. Walkable distance to the local stores and pubs. Chirs is so friendly and responsive. 💯 recommended to all who wish to have some good time with wonderful views.

I cannot recommend Gillian’s beautiful home highly enough, my partner and I booked it as a very last minute trip for new year with our two kids and it was just brilliant. Even in the typical Scottish weather the views were lovely and when the sun was shining it was stunning. The home has everything in it that you could possibly need and is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped and was spacious enough to cook as well as being a social area. We decided to book again as soon as we’d arrived! Thank you Gillian x

We had a lovely stay at Seaview cottage, the surroundings are beautiful and the cottage is great. The big garden came in handy for my son to run around and play, the bed linen was fresh and beautiful and there were extras like a pint of milk to get you started and even cleaning and washing supplies. Sharon explains everything you need in such great detail so you know how everythng works. We had such a lovely stay, thank you.

Jack's place was absolutely ideal for what I needed. space for the dog to be left when it wasn't possible to take him with me. I will definitely book again in the near future. It could just be doing with a better clean and the stuff left in cupboards is a bit lax, but other than that very comfy bed, and definitely served it's purpose!!

We had a fantastic stay at Spindrift, the scenery is truly stunning. As a host Wilma goes above and beyond, the cottage was very well stocked with everything you could want. The thoughtful extras were much appreciated. We will definitely return.

Lovely, spotless, brand new caravan. Steps from the water (beach and nature preserve) and 30 minutes into the Lake District make it a wonderful place to stay and explore Cumbria. The cabin was simply but tastefully decorated and comfortable for a family of four and our furry friend. It has all you need for a comfortable break, there are washer/dryer machines at the site and they worked great. We didn't try the local restaurant but heard good things. We had a wonderful time despite the darker evenings and cool days, we felt very cozy and comfortable after our days exploring. We were able to get most of what we needed in Millom (a mile away) and cooked most nights. The area has lots to do within an hours drive, you really are spoiled for choice. The cabin's wifi is spotty to stay the least but we were happy to "unplug" for a few days.

A great little caravan in a good spot for exploring The Lakes. Unfortunately we had a car disaster and had to check out early without doing much exploring, but we would definitely come back.
