Unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay. A stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

It sits on three acres on Lake Palestine and has plenty of lounging and dining areas on the wraparound porch. This is the perfect weekend retreat to make precious friend and family memories! The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Welcome to VJ Farms! My grandparents, Verda & Jiles bought this property in 1962 with the G.I. Bill. Enjoy the history of Palestine TX. We are located in the North Historic District. The pool house is adjacent to our 1907 Greek Revival home. The pool house offers pool views from the living and bedroom areas with direct access to the pool area. The pool has several comfortable seating spaces and a tranquil environment with many flowers and foliage. You will enjoy convenient walking access to old town and downtown with several antique shops and dining options.

Owen's Pond Cottage with serene and private areas

Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy the well appointed, mostly secluded, home amid the trees. Visit in surrounding areas for antiquing, festivals, fishing, drive through safari and holiday activities. Miniature donkeys can be heard braying. 1 to 2 Small to medium size dogs welcome. Comfortable for 5 persons although 6 persons can fit. No fencing on property and the Kayak is just for decoration. Insurance stays welcome
