Enjoyed our stay at Eric and Penny’s property. The house accommodated our needs and was very clean upon arrival. Communication with hosts was excellent throughout our stay and really liked they provided water, a coffee bar and delicious snacks for all of us to enjoy! Kitchen was very well stocked and the bathrooms well stocked also with plenty of towels and toiletries. Plenty of room for our guests to relax and rest after busy days of visiting the area. Check in and check out were very easy and stress free. House was tastefully decorated and the property was well maintained. Location was good with plenty to do in the local area. Highly recommend!

Audrey and her husband were awesome hosts! I was not sure how long we needed to stay and when our reservation ran out we were able to stay without any interuption until we were able to close on our home. They allowed us to park our Uhaul on site (a big deal!) which saved us time trying to find storage. The day after we arrived, they came over to meet us and tell us about the area. The cottage was clean, equipped and safe. The antique furnishings in the cottage are fabulous...i cant imagine the stories they have to tell! The wildlife is abundant along with the farm life; cattle, geese, chickens, cats, fish, etc. You'll never have a dull moment at the Ranch Hand Cottage! We were blessed to have 2 new calfs born while we were there. If you want to get out of the city or share the country with your city friends, this is THE place! Poplarville is such a cute town, like a step back in time. I will be recommending Audrey and her cottage to anyone that wants to stay in the area.

Brian’s place was a breath of fresh air LITERALLY. The home is a lakefront property with stunning views and very peaceful. My mom lives exactly 12 minutes away and had no idea that location existed. It’s located in a secluded area away from the real world and was just what we needed. Brian provided fishing gear and small boats if we wanted to get on the water but we were good sitting on the pier. The yard is huge and beautiful. The neighbors next door came by to greet us and even invited us to their Easter program at church which we would have attended if we didn’t commit to attending church with my mom. I could stay here over and over and most likely will when we come back to visit my mom. I give this place 5 Stars plus more!!! Brian also communicates well and very responsive and that was before we arrived. Once we got on the property, I had no need to contact him because everything was provided for us and I do mean everything. We even had baked goods and snacks waiting for us.
