The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

The tidal beach & the floating dock (May-Dec) is ideal for seasonal fishing, lounging & swimming.

The cottage reminds me of the way coastal homes used to be: simple ; yet, thougthfully integrated into the environment. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. "The Lure" Delightful, Private Waterfront Getaway

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Originally built in the 1930s as a fishing cabin, "The Lure" was completely renovated in 2021 to be your ultimate couples getaway. Do it all or do nothing at all on your private water-front deck. Relax by the fire, sit on the deck and watch the sun reflect off of the extremely quiet and serene glacial "round pond", or paddle around on the house canoe. The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..
