Ferienunterkünfte in Isle of Man

Unique opportunity to stay in a converted windmill in a great location (only 20 mins or less drive from Douglas, Port St Mary and Port Erin). The place has great character with the games room and opening at the top, and the tree for the children’s bedroom. Wai is also extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Che dire ? Non mi è sembrato nemmeno di ess andato via da casa. Era come essere in famiglia. Geoff e Christina sono due persone che ognuno di noi dovrebbe incontrare nella vita. Sempre disponibili, generosi, simpatici..... Etc etc etc..... Hanno pure due cani molto carini e simpatici e questo non guasta mai. Non so' se mai dovessi tornare sull'isola di Man, ma senza alcun dubbio la mia scelta sarebbe per l'Odin's cottage senza alcuna esitazione. Avrei ancora tante altre cose ( positive ) da dire ma non basterebbero i 1000caratteri a disposizione. E perciò termino così la mia recensione. GRAZIE DI TUTTO CHRISTINA E GEOFF. 🤗

Ellie's cottage has a long, beautiful and encouraging history (you can read about it in a documentary notebook by the window). It makes you feel privileged to have a chance to stay there. In addition to the rich stories, you may be surprised by many small details inside. Just to name a few: (i) the hob in the kitchen is an elegant induction hob that is both gorgeous and powerful; (ii) all possible types of plates, pots, cutleries, cooking tools, etc. are provided, potentially going beyond your imagination for many times during your stay; (iii) the separate game room, the existence of which astonished me already, contains many unique gaming options that may or may not be easily found on the market, including the Isle of Man edition of Monopoly. In addition to the exceptionally well presented cottage, the host Ellie and her family are extremely nice and helpful: extra flexible check-in, extra detailed information about every aspects of your stay, plus lost and found! Highly recommended!

Lovely house, great value, in a great location for trips to them South of the Island.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Elaine was helpful and everything in the house worked fine.

Dandy Rigg Cottage was a perfect place to base for our annual golf tour. Standard of accommodation was excellent and would absolutely recommend to others.

Cosy ground floor of a farmhouse, with superb views. Probably need a car to make the most of it, as no shop in Ballabeg. Great fun to request stop a steam train at Ballabeg Halt. Super location for the Southern 100. All home comforts provided, but come for the location not the decor.

A very well equipped, very comfortable, very clean house. Close to bus routes and a mini market shop. Beach within half an hours walking distance of the house. 6 adults and a child shared the house without ever feeling crowded. Agency were very prompt to respond to our questions. All in all a very good experience

The cottage is in a lovely part of the Isle of Man. Very peaceful location yet near to the towns in the south of the island. We didn't meet Sue as she was away but her housekeeper met us when we arrived and was extremely helpful. The accommodation was perfect for us as our son and his family stayed in one part of the cottage and we stayed at the other end, so we each had our privacy. No hesitation we would stay there again.
