We used Williams place to ski at Big Powderhorn and snowshoe on some of the Wolverine trails. The location was good for us. It was a very short ride to both places. We had 6 adults and 2 children and the place was very roomy for us. The 5 bedrooms and 5 beds were perfect for our sleeping arrangement. We will definitely be back next year for a long weekend trip.

Our 2nd time staying-just keeps getting better and better! So nice to have an incredible place to come home to. Jerri has such an eye for interior design and left no stone unturned as far as providing everything you could possibly need or want. Of course as soon as we came through the door we headed right towards the home made treats! An interior designer who is also an elite baker?! Unheard of. The Bakery Bungalow and Bakery Bunkhouse will exceed all of your expectations and the location is PERFECT. Convenient to stores and restaurants and equally convenient location for sight seeing and hiking. We thank Jerri and Gary for taking our adventures to another level. We will be back again and again. Shhhh don't tell anyone about this place, its just too wonderful. P.S. Don't miss dinner at the Iron Nugget.

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, we watched a DVD she had, there were lots of interesting books, we could walk to downtown, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. We felt right at home!

The place was comfy cozy and peaceful. The Northern lights were incredible right from the deck!

Very nice house. Big enough for our big family of eight. Very close to central part of town and very close to Bad River Reservation. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here with our 6 young kids and loved everything about this space for us. The master bedroom has a nice and comfortable king bed. The other bedroom has 2 queens and a twin and was perfect for our kids. The main floor has a nice open living/dining space and kitchen next to it each room decorated and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed except a large mixing bowl. We had just an amazing time here felt right at home every time we walked in. Kasi’s was helpful with suggestions and responded quickly to a minor (remote battery) issue so promptly. And we so appreciated that! We will be back to stay here for sure!

My group has been cross-country skiing at ABR for more than 20 years. We like to rent a house on the trails. This was our first time at Saari House. The second week in March was late in the season for skiing, but we skied in the mornings and snowshoed in the afternoons. Being right off the Blueberry Bluffs trails was nice. The house is charming, with lots of natural light. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room table that seats 6. There is just one bathroom but that was fine for our group of four women. One bedroom is on the main floor, off the cozy living room. The second floor has the second bedroom, plus an extra room with a pull-out couch. It was nice to have plenty of large towels, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a small wooden deck around the front of the house. You enter through a mud room with plenty of room to store your boots and hang clothes. We look forward to a visit here next winter!

We stayed in Ashland for an ice fishing tourney. Very clean, cozy and comfortable beds! It would be nice to have one more restroom.

We spent a weekend away in Bayfield with another couple and this Airbnb was perfect! We were in walking distance to everything, we were able to enjoy games in the evening and the peacefulness of this quiet neighborhood. Cute little Airbnb and hope to return again.

Great place to stay, private but quick drive into town. Even better than the pictures/description. I would definitely stay here again when we come back to the UP!

Luke has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He has maintained contact before, during and after our stay. The apartment is located within walking distance to several local eateries. You're also not far from the Wisconsin border where you will find even more restaurants. Upon arrival, we weren't entirely sure where the apartment was because there was no clear address on the building and we never saw a photo of the outside. It's a very spacious apartment, they have done some great updates to the place. New shower with great water pressure. They upgraded the TV before our visit. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs (dishes, pans, cups, etc.) and our bed was comfortable. Like much of the U.P. it's an older building (built in 1887), but I have no doubt that the owners are going to restore its charm.

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Paul’s place is very unique. It is an apartment in an old house which has been well preserved and taken care of. There is a beautiful view of Lake Superior from every room. Kathy has added sweet touches that make it homey, interesting and artistic. Kathy helped us with the heat and showed us how to access the cupola. You can see for miles. This apartment is accessed by steep stairs as is the rooftop view, so it is not for those with physical challenges. The kitchen is well stocked and is the heart of the apartment and we had a meal with friends. We loved our stay here!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

Great location right off the snowmobile trail and close to downtown. Nice big parking lot for a snowmobile trailer. House was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described.

We’re in love with Bayfield! We have stayed at the Boatyard condos before. It was obvious that this condo was being renovated. Updated pictures or a mention would have been appreciated. We had no hot water initially, but a text to Erin immediately sent someone to solve that issue. The location is ideal including watching folks take a cold plunge on New Year’s Day! We’ll return soon.

Great spot, right in the middle of the downtown Bayfield Main Street area. Very walkable and easy to find. Perfect for a family of four.

The apartment was beautifully laid out and had a very relaxed and comfortable feeling. Everything was recently updated, easy to use and very comfortable. Really appreciated the coffee beans you provided. Great location to get to the lake for a walk along the shore. Loved the La Monarcha restaurant next door and easy to walk to the wonderful Black Cat Cafe, coop and other great stores down town. If I come back to Ashland I will first look to see if this bnb is available because it was so comfy and clean. Best, Mary

Such a great get-away! I toured the ice caves, ate dinner with the locals, and enjoyed watching a pair of foxes play right outside my window. The location is so great because it's private but also close to everything. Thank you Erin!

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

Great location and comfortable space! Sleeping could get hot if you run hot at night, but ceiling fans and the window ac in the living room helped a lot. Loved how easy it was to access everything in town by walking. We had a car, but you could easily go without and rent a bike or moped right downstairs if you want to go to the state park for hiking or kayaking (which we highly recommend!).

Cozy and comfortable condo a few blocks from every thing in Bayfield. Very clean everywhere, and a comfortable bed. Easy walk to the ferry, restaurants, and local hiking trails. Many cool shops and restaurants to explore. Beautiful views and colors in mid-October. Amanda was very helpful and responsive in fixing a TV connection problem. Would definitely recommend!

If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars I would! This is the second time I have stayed at Kathryn and Bob’s place, and I have thoroughly enjoyed both stays. Kathryn is a tremendously thoughtful hostess, providing everything a guest could need; ensuring a clean, comfortable place; and offering helpful recommendations of things to do and places to explore locally. It is a true delight to stay here!
