C est un bel endroit avec un beau jardin tranquille. Des hôtes très accueillant, très serviables qui nous ont dépanné plusieurs fois pour les transports et autres services. Les repas sont très copieux et très bons. Nous recommandons ce lieu.

We had the loveliest stay at Freedom Lodge - such a peaceful place and Asela and his family are so welcoming! The stay was perfect, just like the photographs and so comfortable & clean. We also loved the outside space with tables and chairs in the shade. Asela was an exceptional host, super friendly and communicative - he picked us up from the airport and even dropped us to Kandy after the stay as he is also a taxi driver - as well as helping us arrange tuktuks for local trips. We would definitely recommend Freedom Lodge, and would love to stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Sri Lanka😊

A serene and secluded retreat in a Rajasthan village. The location is truly isolated, with no one around for a 4 km radius. While this offers peace and tranquility, it can feel a bit eerie at times. The hosts, however, were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique and immersive experience in rural Rajasthan.

Wir bedanken uns von ganzem Herzen bei Anavin & seinem ganzen Team für diese tollen Aufenthalt. Die Anlage ist einfach wunderschön gestaltet.  Es gibt viele tolle Tiere in der Anlage - einen Hund, viele Katzen, Enten, Pfauen. 2 Katzen sind auch Stammbewohner von der Unterkunft :), was wir sehr genossen haben. Das Cafe am Platz ist wunderschön & lecker und der Service tiptop.  Wir konnten an der Rezeption einen Roller für 300 Baht am Tag mieten (wurde extra hingebracht und wieder abgeholt, deshalb 300 statt die üblichen 250 Baht) Ein Roller macht auch Sinn, wenn man mehr als 2 Tage bleibt, da man so auch mal woanders zum Essen hinfahren, als auch die Gegend besser erkunden kann.  Die Bilder halten, was sie versprechen.  WLAN wunderbar. Tolle Ausflüge direkt ums Eck. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

We stayed at Saman’s place in Ella during our trip, and it was a lovely experience! The room was basic but very clean and cozy, perfect for a comfortable stay. The real gem here is the view — simply breathtaking! From our window and private balcony, we had a clear view of the lush mountains and a beautiful waterfall. Honestly, we could’ve just sat there all day soaking in the beauty of Ella. Although the property is located on a hill, it’s easily accessible by tuk-tuk. We also enjoyed walking downhill through the scenic tea gardens to reach the town — such a peaceful and picturesque route! Breakfast was delicious and satisfying every morning. Saman was a super responsive and kind host — always quick to help with any questions. He even arranged a tuk-tuk for us early in the morning to get to the train station, which was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape in Ella with unbeatable views. #coupleexploration

What a wonderful place to have your entire family clan come here. You will have the entire place to yourselves. There is a hike to the beach, but be forewarned that the climb back up is steep but fun. We stayed here for two night, 3 days, and we walked down to the beach four times; check the tide charts for Daraga to determine low tide for maximum fun. Chris is a wealth of knowledge, and I was astounded to learn that the pillow rocks originated from Papua New Guinea; and we know this through paleo magnetism (I am old and this is the first time I have heard of this and it's a real thing). One thing that you may find out for yourselves is that the owners are invested in the local community. They are about helping others and that is good enough reason to stay here - support the local kids. We had a great time, so thank you Chris & Glenda, and the entire staff who took care of us.

The place is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are very esthetically pleasing and the hosts have put in lots of thought and taken care of very minute details which most other places often miss out.. for example - mosquito repellant conveniently placed indoors as well as outdoors for the guests to use... the service staff is super polite and wonderful... special shout out to Harish and Kallesh who made our stay truly amazing... the food was very tasty and we enjoyed and looked forward for the meals.. every dish we ordered was fantastic... Definitely a place I look forward to coming back to... PS - check out the various paintings and artifacts on sale... these have been made by Kallesh..

Ceddar hill lodge was definitely one of my best homestay experiences ever! I will cherish the 4 days I spent nestled amidst the hills with a view to die for, enjoying the silence and some great food by the chef. Spent my days reading books with hot cups of coffee, evening barbeques, doing yoga on the terrace, walking around, forest bathing, bird watching, sightseeing & waking up to the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. I wish this trip didn't end. Atul and Garima, thank you for your kindness, sensetive concern and prompt responsiveness. We are definitely coming back soon with our friends and family!

The property is so serene, clean and very spacious. Great and friendly staff. Weather is very tranquill and fresh, despite of extreme heat from the metro . You do not have to go far north to experience the same way of cool breeze especially at night. Close to public Market . Pet friendly environment.

Jenny, Yok, and the owner are friendly. Their service mind is beyond great. They are super supportive when you need any surprise events. Mango, the dog, added double value to the place. Mango swam and kayaked with us. The room is so perfect for relaxing as it has stunning Kwai river view. The cleanliness is also perfect. In total, I love this place very much.

What we enjoyed most about our stay was the fact that it is pet friendly. We appreciate the hosts' thoughtfulness in providing pet supplies. They also promptly addressed our requests. It was a great and quiet place to stay, with many of surrounding restaurants. I simply wish the entire area could be finished soon, with more snap-worthy spots inside.

Very welcoming place, I had a great time in this yoga place, even if I'm not a yoga practicioner, I enjoyed taking some courses. Thank you Teresa!

Quel incroyable séjour nous avons passé chez Ganga et son adorable épouse. Nous avons été accueillis comme des membres de la famille. Ce sont des personnes avec un coeur immense et une grande générosité. Les plats préparés par Chitralekha étaient tellements bons, et tous différents chaque jour, du petit-déjeuner au dîner !! La nature est magnifique, avec beaucoup d'animaux dans la propriété. Ganga nous a permis d'aller en haut de la colline admirer la vue magique sur les collines environnantes. Nous avons aussi eu l'opportunité de faire un tour en bateau au lac Jaisamand au coucher du soleil, incroyable ! La chambre était très grande, décorée avec simplicité et lumineuse. Il y a plein de recoins dans la maison pour se ressourcer paisiblement (jardin, rooftop, terrasse...). Bref, c'est un passage obligatoire si vous souhaitez rencontrer des personnes bienveillantes, et faire une pause des villes parfois bruyantes et fatiguantes. Je ne peux que recommander de vous rendre ici !

Had the most peaceful weekend at Ramisera Wilds! Not only is the property beautiful and set amidst the most gorgeous forest, everyone was super helpful and friendly. Shout out to Kapil, Anil, Sonu, and the most brilliant chefs! Will definitely visit again and hopefully see some more wildlife! 😄

I came for a day, and stayed for over a month. Old Manali is wonderful, and peaceful place to stay. This guest house is in a great location inside the town. It was a bit hard to find, yet it all worked out in the end. Aayush's friend Anshul was managing the place, and helped me a lot to settle in the place. We went together to the hot spring in Vashist, and he showed me good local places to eat. Also the other guests were relaxed, and welcoming. They were all local digital nomads, we shared evening and food in the place. All in all, this place is a mellow gem in Old Manali with a beautiful view to the mountains. I can definitely recommend it for a short or long stay.

Naomi and Nori were amazing hosts, they were very responsive and even picked me up and took me to the station which is about a 12 minute drive each way and can easily cost about $18-$20. Their onsen is beautiful and I really enjoyed being able to use it as I pleased. The area around their home is full of nature and beautiful views, I will say it’s a shame I didn’t have a car because I really couldn’t explore much on foot. There’s one restaurant near the house and that’s about it so it’s important to bring food (you can use the microwave easily). They have a sweet dog named Prince who is very friendly and loving, definitely will miss him. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

As a solo traveler arriving from Germany, this place was the perfect start to my journey. I felt instantly welcomed – the host even picked me up early in the morning, although I messaged her last minute. I got an upgrade to a cooler room when my original one felt too warm, and every day I enjoyed delicious, authentic Filipino food – some freshly caught! Even though I was the only guest, I never felt alone. The host, her kids, and the locals made me feel like part of the family. We shared laughs, stories, and even watched the sunset together. The beach felt like it was all mine – quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature. They have paddleboards, kayak, snorkeling gear and life vests u can use for free The place is even more beautiful than in the photos. A hidden gem if you’re looking for real Filipino hospitality, serenity, and nature. I also did a private island-hopping tour that started right at my doorstep – unforgettable. Thank you Natalie for this magical week. I’ll always carry it

We had a good time staying with our 7-month old and our labrador. We stayed in the wintertime so we definitely enjoyed warming up at the sauna and in front of the bonfire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our dog got along well with the resident dog. We hope we can visit again in the summertime.

A nice place to stay that has a private bathroom and a shared kitchen. The beach was nice with some decent coral and some nice waves at high tide! Convenient to the Hagimit Falls and close to the barge.

I stayed at Charlotte’s Country Cottage in the native room, and overall, it was a really pleasant experience. The host was very accommodating and made sure we felt at home. The staff and owner were both friendly and approachable—you can make requests, and they’ll gladly help you out depending on availability. The place is peaceful and surrounded by nature, perfect if you're looking to relax and unwind away from the busy town. It’s not located right along the highway, so expect a 5- to 8-minute walk to get there. From the highway, it's just a short motorbike ride (around 5 minutes) to reach the center of Moalboal. You can also use the kitchen and other amenities, which was super convenient. If you’re okay with a bit of walking and want a quiet, nature-side stay with kind and helpful hosts, this is a great place to consider.

The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray
