Carbon Hill Cabin hosted by Rebecca was a cozy getaway for a brief weekend. We felt right at home as we settled in to the 3 respectable sized bedrooms, single bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The outdoor amenities were also great even though we only were able to use the hot tub. Appreciate the towels on site for hot tub use! We were about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills trails we did but the drive was scenic and no one was in a hurry.

Nina’s place was perfect for our visit - comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. She was proactive in sending information and flexible since my party needed a later check-out. Would stay again and would recommend!

Oink was a great, cozy cabin. It was the cleanest cabin I’ve ever stayed in! We stayed for the weekend over OU’s graduation weekend…it’s only 25 minutes away from campus. We didn’t get to use the fire pit due to the rain but it looked peaceful and fun with the lights strung up. It was so quiet and peaceful that we overslept on the last morning and late to getting to campus to move our son out! Will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

This was a great spot! It’s not too far from restaurants and stores. We felt safe and it was a quiet area. We felt secluded even though there are two other cabins close by. The cabin was really clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Gd was super responsive and friendly. We felt like Gd was always available as needed. We will definitely be back! Too, the kids loved it (our dog too)😊!!

Such a great place! Jessica and the other co-owners are EXTREMELY responsive and super friendly! I felt like I was staying at a friends place! Jason (think that’s who it was) gave us GREAT recommendations for avoiding the high traffic trails in the area. And informed us as to which trail system we were closest to! Can be confusing bc there are so many in the area. Only heads up I would give is there’s no microwave, so if you’re doing an extended stay just something to keep in mind! But they do have a toaster oven! 👍 They even have terry cloth robes and slippers for the hot tub! 🥹 Don’t laugh, but we actually bring our own sheets and terry cloth robes for the hot tubs, when we do hiking trips like this bc it is a MUST for us! This trip, I completely forgot so imagine my surprise when I open the closet and 🙌🏻 robe AND slippers! And the sheets are EXTREMELY good quality linens! Take it from an expert! 🤣 All in all not a bad thing to say! We loved it and would definitely go back!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this lovely little cottage!! It had a little bit of everything, and a lot of ways away from the loudness of any cities. We didn't get to use the hot tub unfortunately, but we could've prepared better. the hot tub wouldn't heat above 91, even when making sure it was on the right setting. We discovered this on our second night there, when we went to get in around 6pm. We waited an hour to see if it would heat up at all, but it wasn't budging. We did contact Trisha then, and she contacted maintenance, but we decided to just forego the experience because it would've taken awhile for the water to heat up and we don't stay up late. We do plan on coming back, this was a gem of a place! The only thing I would add is some lamps or some accent lighting in the house for us neurodivergents that dont use "the big light" because it hurts our eyes and is overstimulating. That's a personal preference, which is why I'm giving our experience 5 stars well earned!

Jolinda's Dorr Run Retreat was clean and everything we needed. Close to the event we attended and located in beautiful Hocking Hills, it was also close to Nelsonville's restaurants and shops. Until now this area of Ohio was unknown to me. It's an American gem bursting with natural beauty, history, and some of the most exciting roads to ride or drive.

Exactly as described. Enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeders. Extremely peaceful. Would definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful getaway, quiet and peaceful but not so far from a variety of entertainment options. Great place!
