This is the only house I have ever gone back to and I've been there 4 times. You will not find a winter waterfront view like this anywhere else. The home is spacious, quiet, and well kept.

Tracy's cottage was a clean comfortable place in a very beautiful setting. It was a convenient location for many beautiful waterfalls and for the day trips we wanted to take. The little touches left for us were greatly appreciated. We throughly enjoyed our 40th anniversary trip.

We stayed at the cabin for the weekend exploring the Keweenaw. Luke is an excellent host. He was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It is evident the care he has taken to make his place inviting and memorable for those who visit.

Diane was very responsive to all of our questions. The view and vibe were fantastic, we really loved our rustic stay in the UP, complete with peak foliage and tons of wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked, sauna gets hot, couch is comfy. A couple of things which are noteworthy, the cottage is not really in the populated part of L’Anse so going to the store/town is 20 min each way. There is a bunch of firewood outside to use which is very convenient. The waterfront fire ring seemed to be in the neighbors yard so we were unsure and didn’t use it, didn’t see any outdoor chairs to use around it either, was probably and oversight on our part and I’m sure if asked, this would have been answered right away :). The extra cottage is not attached and a little bit of a walk from main house, not ideal if traveling with kids fyi, but clearly stated in description. Everything is comfy and relaxing and we would come back here. Thank you.

I am grateful to have stayed in such an amazing place, with my dog, Jax! The host was very responsive and instructions were clear and to the point. It is a very relaxing and quiet area as well, and my dog enjoyed drinking from Lake Superior with ease. Tammie's cabin was the perfect getaway for my birthday! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything I needed. The coffee bar was a huge plus for me. I enjoyed watching all of the squirrels, birds and deer right out the back window. I loved reading by the fire and casting a few lines in the river. I would love to come back in the summer to explore more of the area! Thanks so much again!!

It was a beautiful little cabin. We were left to ourselves for our stay. It was a little cold to really enjoy the landscape right outside the cabin, but I imagine it would be a fantastic summer stay. We stayed for my birthday. It was quiet and relaxing. We will stay again.

We spent a week at Kari's place for spring break. The UP is always beautiful but especially so during the winter months. Houghton was worth the 9+ hour drive and the home was perfectly suited for our large group. The space was clean, beds are comfortable, and had everything needed to ensure we could fully enjoy our time. The kitchen is well equipped and thoughtful touches throughout the home were appreciated. The game room, hot tub, sauna, and snowshoes certainly added to the fun. We had such a wonderful time!

Perfect for a winter getaway! Snowy trails on site made for great cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Fireplace perfect for relaxing after long day on the trails.
