Cook in the kitchen or over the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy a wood-fired sauna and cool off with a dip in the pond. Bring a fishing rod and catch dinner out of the pond or the river! No running water but indoor composting toilet and a rain barrel/sink.

The lake boasts panfish, northern pike and walleye. Snowmobile Trail 8 runs on the north end of the lake and is easily accessible after a short run down the highway. The fishing dock is pulled out for the winter, but you can setup tip up’s for Northern Pike and watch from the living room.

We have kayaks, SUP, and a canoe, plus a dock if you bring a small boat. After a day of hiking or fishing, nothing beats the private sauna. Picture yourself enjoying the warmth before a refreshing dip in the lake—or just relaxing with a view of the bay. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, so working from the cabin is a breeze.

This Lake Superior authentic 1957 cottage is what U.P. vacation dreams are made of! Kayak or canoe along the shoreline (262' of private shoreline) with the soaring eagles above you. Enjoy the water view from the screened front porch or a lakeside fire. Relax in the authentic wood burning Finnish sauna after a day of outdoor fun. For cold nights there is an indoor wood burning fireplace. Each bedroom has a new foam mattress, pillows & bedding for a truly peaceful rest.

Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer. *Please note that the entry is on the basement level and the main living area is up a flight of stairs.
