We had a wonderful few nights on the edge of the beautiful Redwood forest. The house felt very homely and we loved having the cats hop up for a cuddle on the sofa at night. The kitchen was very functional for meals. Thank you for sharing your home :-)

What a fantastic place! We had the Easter long weekend here and had a lovely time. Place was perfect with great views of the lake, well kitted out and clean. The owners were extremely communicative. Would book here in a flash!

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and was in an amazing location. There was plenty of space for everyone to lounge and relax, and we loved how close it was to the beach and great cafes in town. There is a small Four Square supermarket about 10 mins walking distance which has plenty of supplies (including Mount Sourdough Co bread!) and a larger New World supermarket that was a short drive away. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home, and for coffee making had both a French press and a coffee pod machine and a milk steamer. The Mount Surf Co sells coffee pods from Flight Coffee and was our favorite place to restock the pods. We loved our stay and would definitely return :)

very open to make quick changes as I mess up the application for our stay but james and hannah made room , very good to communicate and understand , since it was only extra kids , they made something work the place was very homely with the fireplace made it extremely warm and comfortable for out childern , happy experience

It was great to be able to use Nick's house. Very clean and easy to gain entry. No steps is always a plus. Nice open plan layout. It was lovely and warm at night with a lovely gas heater and wall panels in the bedrooms. Very close to town, only about a 5 minute drive. It was handy for us as all our family live close by. The house is in a peaceful area and quite location. Would wholeheartedly recommend to vist Nick's house.

A really well set up house. Everything you need. Fire really heats the place up so nice and cosy. Quiet area, sleept well, shower pressure was fantastic. Would stay again.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location, quiet, close to town, the lake, supermarket and restaurants. Beds very comfortable and contact and instructions were great. Hosts accommodated addition to numbers after initial booking. Would recommend and stay again

The perfect spacious place to spend a couple of days while we explored the area. Loved all the windows which let in lots of light, plus the lake view from the living area was pretty special. We felt very at home during our stay, the airbnb is filled with curated artwork, books and good furniture pieces, that seem made for the space. There was a big comfy sofa, plus a basket full of dry firewood (much appreciated, as the weather cool and rainy during our visit). The full kitchen is well equipped, and included a coffee machine, although the local store by the Falls does a good coffee too. We'd love to come back during summer to explore the region further. Thanks for having us to stay.

Fantastic property in a great location. Great areas with 2 outdoor spaces and really great en-suite with master bedroom being away from the other 2 bedrooms. Really well setup kitchen and amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay again. Host responded very quickly and check in made easy.

You know when you walk in to an air BnB and you instantly feel at ease and like you’re going to have the best weekend because of the place you get to sleep is perfect, this is how I felt stepping into Raewyn and Rod’s property. It was clean to absolute perfection, the bathroom was really cool, the beds were great - comfortable as and the granola, as per other reviews was fab! The home made peaches were however my favourite and my dad loved the plum jam! It’s peaceful with a great view and ambient outdoor areas to soak up some sun. In walking distance from a cute coffee spot and the pub was great for food. My dad and I had the best weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for our stay and highly recommend.

This property was close to town, as described, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, nice hot shower, peaceful and quiet. Good clear and precise communication. I would book this property again in the future. Thanks Paul.

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

Our stay in Waihi Beach was exceptional. We loved the area and our host. The apartment was just as beautiful as shown. You could hear the ocean from the apartment. Thank you Campbell and Julie for wonderful hospitality.

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

What a special spot! Merle and Al greeted us warmly on arrival and even recommended a fantastic fishing charter. We loved exploring the orchard, where we collected fresh figs, passionfruit, and tamarillo. The 50-minute bush walk was a highlight — we were amazed by the beautiful 600-year-old White Pine tree. In the evenings, we barbecued the snapper we caught and cozied up by the log burner. The accommodation was meticulously clean and had everything we needed for our three-night stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting — it was the perfect getaway.

The most beautiful home. Space, style fully and equipped beyond many places I’ve stayed. Stunning, absolutely stunning location, you would never tire of the view. Hope to come again.

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.
