We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

Sunnyside cabin is a great spot to gather as a family. Plenty of space, well equipped, and close to the Hayward area. We’ve stayed twice for the Birkie and it’s been wonderful each time.

We know the area well and love it. Like many of the cabins in the area it is older, but it has been updated and is extremely well taken care of, and everything just works. Even if you arrive after sundown finding it and making yourself at home is super easy. Lastly, or firstly, Erin is just amazing. We are so lucky to have found this gem and Erin made it a dream. Highly recommended. If you are visiting especially during busy season we hope you will help us keep the whole area a special place to visit.

Very cozy and private cabin on the lakeshore! Loved the wood interior, high ceilings, toasty fireplace, clean and comfortable beds, and watching the beautiful sunsets over the lake. Check in and check out was super easy. I would highly recommend booking this for a quiet getaway or a home base for visiting the awesome beaches nearby.

Wonderful, peaceful cottage with access to a small private beach on Lake Superior. Great outdoors amenities including a charcoal grill and fire pit with wood provided.

My husband and I decided to plan a random getaway with our son and two dogs. We love to hike and to feel secluded from a busy life at times. Laceys place is the perfect spot! It was cozy, peaceful, clean and a nice little getaway. Our dogs are tuckered out and so is our little guy!

It was exactly as I expected. Clean and comfortable. I was able to keep my dog there with us, and walk her along the beach. My kids loved it. What more can I ask for?

We spent 3 nights here for my birthday trip as we did a waterfall hiking tour. It was the perfect location. Quiet and private. The cabin has everything you could need in the kitchen. We aren’t big on eating out so I prep food to make dinners and everything I needed was right there. Extremely comfortable and cozy. They even have blankets to coverup on the couch (which I e just started bringing my own because most places don’t). Perfect instructions! We would definitely stay again!

We were so happy that we were able to book this place last minute. We loved the location....not too close to town but not too far. We were able to walk everywhere. The unit was exactly as described and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the book of recommendations. We hiked a few trails listed and went to a couple apple orchards and winery. We will definitely be back with our family next summer/fall

This place is so great we had to stay an extra day! Jack and Mary are absolutely the best! Our cabin was clean and had everything you could need. When you stay at one of these great cabins you get so much more than just a place to sleep. From the decks with gorgeous outdoor seating to the wonderful bar and restaurant, to the amount of options for water craft. Jack set up our boat and made it so easy to enjoy a day on the water worry free. Can't say enough about these wonderful, hard working, kind, and generous people! Do yourself a favor and go stay at pine point!

Calm getaway from the crazy cities, close enough to local attractions but not to far away, nice air conditioning and heating, appliances worked well and was very clean

The condo was very clean and the location was perfect. Beautiful deck to look out at the lake and relax. Very convenient to everything...we parked our car and it never moved until checkout. Matthew was very accommodating

We had a great stay. Plenty of space for us as a couple. Kitchen was well-furnished with all manner of kitchen implements. Plenty of dishes and cups/glasses.

Could not ask for a better place on the water.

Erin’s place was conveniently located downtown Bayfield. We enjoyed our stay during Apple fest weekend and especially appreciated being walking distance to all the festivities. It had a wonderful view of the lake. The space was clean and had all the amenities we needed.

I can’t imagine there is a better way to see the Apostle Islands than with Peter and his sailboat. He’s an accomplished sailor, an expert tour guide of the area and a lot of fun to be around (which is extremely important when living with someone on a boat for 3 days). I’d highly recommend his charter as a far better alternative to taking commercial tour boats and ferries to see this incredible piece of country.

Totally fell in love with this cabin! First of all, the view is amazing. Walking in it just feels so comfortable, welcoming. The kitchen is amazing and has all the basics (well labeled as to where everything is). And the gas fireplace creates such a warm ambiance. This cabin worked well for our group of 8 adults, 3 children. Sleeping options were great, beds were comfortable. I don’t think I would change a thing about this cabin! Would love to come back in the summer some time to be able to enjoy the fabulous yard. We were fortunate to not need to contact the Owner while we were there but left something at the cabin and Rachael responded immediately and is going out of her way to mail the item to us. Truly excellent service. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. It was a pleasure 😊

Group of 10 friends together for a few days. Had a great time...very nice place and beautiful overlook of the lake from the deck outside. Very comfortable home. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here! Very kind hosts and space was perfect for our group. Kitchen was also well outfitted with everything we needed which we appreciated. Gorgeous views as well! Would absolutely rent again!

The house is beautifully constructed, is spacious and well furnished. There is a large deck that wraps around three sides and faces the lake. The property is secluded and provided a sense of peaceful isolation. The 3-season porch was a wonderful place to play cards at night. The lake frontage was spacious and the shallow water allowed our one-year old grandson to play in the water. The bathrooms were modern and the kitchen was well outfitted with everything we needed to cook meals for a week for 5 adults. There was also a crib, highchair, child-size dishes and toddler books that were in good condition. The property and home met our needs so well for relaxation and recreation, that our group only left twice, once to hike at Tomahawk Lake Park and once to go to the Fall Festival in Hayward. This was a wonderful property for our family to enjoy time together.

We have been to Rube’s Cabin several times now, and it never disappoints! It’s a very comfortable cabin on a quiet lake, and Rube is a great, responsive host.
