Our stay at the chapel was wonderful! Super comfortable and with plenty of space for a large group, we felt right at home. We especially loved the beautiful location and how well-equipped the kitchen was, we had no problems cooking for and serving 16+ hungry adults.

We booked Sarah’s place for a coworker to stay near to our place of work on Preston Farm Industrial Estate. We found Sarah’s house perfect for what we needed, comfortable, clean and near to the places we needed. Would recommend Sarah’s place to anyone staying in the Stockton area.

Property was exactly what we were looking for, felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Neutral decor and comfortable furnishing. We had an issue with the boiler one day, but with prompt communication this was sorted asap. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you

A beautiful cottage in a great location! The hosts have done a wonderful job with the house, and it shows even in the smallest of details, from dog treats through to a guest book full of recommendations on the what to do in the area, including dog walk suggestions. We loved our stay!

We had a lovely time at The Stables. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and even nicer than the pics! Beds were extremely comfortable with quality bedding. The host Helen was responsive and very helpful with any of the questions we had around local taxis and coffee pods! Thoughtful welcome pack, we would definitely recommend!

What a great place to stay! I booked Lynda and Fraser's place for a group celebration with friends and it was the perfect place. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for groups, so many plates, glasses and wine glasses. The dinning table is really big, and we used that a lot. There are three big comfy sofas, perfect for socialising and having a chill. The bedrooms were great, the bunk beds were comfy and again lots of space, with nice views from the windows. There is also a lovely large outdoor table to the side of the property, with a cover over it where we had breakfast. Communication prior to the stay was fantastic. Lynda and Fraser responded to all my questions really quickly and they kindly recommended some walks and pub lunches. The property is in the middle of nowhere, so it is a great place to get away from everything and just relax. The countryside is truly beautiful and great for walks. Would 100% recommend. We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!
