Ferienunterkünfte in Blacksburg

This was the perfect getaway weekend! Great location to stay if you are interested in hiking and spending some time in nature. Not too far from Roanoke and Bedford if you need some city time too!

We had a great time here over our Spring Break. There is so much to do there you don't need to leave!! We loved the dock and boats, and the younger kids in our group loved the floating play mat. When it was too windy to play outside we stayed busy with ping pong, movies and PacMan. The huge kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. Stephanie was super helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

This house is at a perfect location, secluded enough for peace and quiet, yet not so far away you can't get to places for things you may need. The water front access with kayaks to use was such an amazing addition to the getaway. A large majority of things you would need if you are preparing food are available the grill was easy to use and all materials to keep it clean. We’re also attached. Fred was very quick to respond to any questions and very easy to correspond withsix of us ended up staying in the home instead of our initial eighth that we planned on, there was more than enough room had we had our full amount of folks highly recommend this place.

This condo was perfect for our weekend getaway! Newly renovated, comfortable furniture and amazing views. Host was a pleasure to work with!

Joshua’s place was exactly as described. It was very clean and well decorated. The mattress on the bed was very comfortable. He even left snacks for us! We loved it and would definitely stay there another time. We wished we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I had a spectacular time during our stay! The place was cozy and utterly peaceful. Along with the breathtaking view of the lake, as chefs we enjoyed the great kitchen lol. Katie is super responsive and even allowed us to come back and look for my husband’s wedding band. Thank God we found it. I cannot wait to come back. I think we found our SML vacation spot forever lol. 10/10 recommend to others.
