It has a fireplace, panorama sauna and not a person in sight. A superb place to see the northern lights or enjoy the midnight sun. You have to work for your reward by walking for about 10 minutes to the dome from the parking at the farm. Its a good place is you want to get off the beaten track and still be close to the main attractions like the golden circle.

Private cottage with stunning views

This spacious and cozy cottage can accommodate up to 8 people and is ideal for families and groups of friends. The cottage is perfectly located near the Golden Circle in the scenic South of Iceland, only a 10 minute drive from Geysir. The sleeping arrangements consist of two 160 cm beds, two 120 cm beds in the guesthouse, and two 90 cm beds in the loft. One of the highlights of the cottage is the marvelous mountain view over Hekla which we think is best enjoyed while relaxing in the hot tub.

It is close to several tourist attractions; Gullfoss , Geysir and Skálholt so you can easily use our place as your base and visit the area to come back in the afternoon and relax in our very spacious hot tub (10 persons) or light a fire in the fire place and look out to the river. Chicken coop on the premises and you can collect the eggs.
