The name of the cabin is Himnaríki or Heaven in english.(GPS =N64 04.096Ẃ20 07.739 ) The heavenly view from the cabin over the river Þjórsá and the volcano Hekla is spectacular! The amazing view reaches over the beautiful landscape and the location The floorspace of the cabin is 38 m2 plus a sleeping loft with 3 beds 80 x 200 Downstairs is one bedroom with a queen size double bed. There is a well equipped kitchen, a living room and a bathroom with a shower. All bedding and towels are included

Our cottage is in a great location close to some of the moste interesting sites and family-friendly activities in the south of Iceland, Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, and Geysir. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the light. It has a geothermal tub and an outdoor shower. It is great for couples and families (with kids). The cabin is 5 min away from the small village Laugarvatn where there is a store a restaurant and a swimmingpool.

Outside you’ll find a wooden terrace with a private geothermal hot tub, a beautiful garden with trees and peaceful lake views. The cabin offers total privacy, yet it’s only a 5‑minute drive to the town center, swimming pool and grocery store.

The house is located in a beautiful and quiet place on Langholtsfjall with a fantastic mountain views. A cosy guesthouse, 25 m2, next to our cabin. The house has a small kitchen, double bed (queen size) and a bathroom with shower. There is a platform in front of the guesthouse with a heater and comfortable chairs . Guests will have access to hot tub and a outdoor barbeque.

The house has two bedrooms with queen size beds and a guest house also with a queen size bed. There is also a sleeping loft where 2-4 can also sleep on mattresses. Kitchen and dining room with everything you need, spacious living room with fireplace, large corner sofa and smart TV. Large terrace with a gas grill and hot tub. Wonderful view of Lake Thingvallavatn.

Lakeside cabin on private property with access to the lake and permit to fish from the beachfront. Surrounded by stunning nature and forest, a playground for children, and lots to explore in the surrounding areas. A brand new hot tub has just been installed ( July 2026 ). You run the hot tub with fresh hot water each time you use it, no chemicals.

The house at Úlfljótsvatn is located in a beautiful area in the middle of the Golden Circle - nearby attractions include Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gullfoss, lakes and lava fields. Great site for spotting northern lights. The room is in a rustic three-story farmhouse owned by the Icelandic Forestry Association.
