Take an early morning swim or paddle in one of our kayaks. Then sooth sore muscles in our wood-fired traditional Finnish Sauna. Then enjoy an evening lakeside campfire.

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Just imagine, the captain bringing goods back from his ship to this very house, sneaking them in through the cellar door to sell to the shipyards that once sat in Mystic Seaport! Just a 10-min walk to downtown Mystic and with delightful water views to Tuft’s Cove, Captain Burrows Home is perfect for family and friend gatherings, sleeping 6-7 guests in 3 super comfortable bedrooms!

Romantic Seaside Cottage in Mystic

This cozy seaside cottage with sleep loft has the look and feel of an old classic yacht inside with modern amenities. Couples will love the water views, screened porch, gas-wood stove, heated stone floor in cedar bathroom, outdoor shower and patio. Another larger 2 bedroom cottage on property is for rent also for families with younger children. This rental is NOT suitable for toddlers or children under 12 due to the open balconies, railings and narrow spiral staircase to the loft.

Ensuite bath with new towels,robes,linens,and bedding. Outdoor shower ( in addition to an indoor one!) ,grill,lounging area. Near beaches,music,food, Mystic Ct attractions. Great relaxing venue.
