Ferienunterkünfte in Blue Lagoon

The hosts, Gerður and Óskar, were responsive and proactive in ensuring all was going well during my one week stay by checking in part-way through my stay. I appreciated the privacy given by both the location of the property and the hosts themselves. The location and property, located in Kópavogu, was exactly as described and it was a great jumping off point for exploring the surrounding rural areas and Reykjavik by car. Kópavogur is also more accessible to the airport (KEF) and south-western Iceland. I enjoyed discovering shops, restaurants and bakeries in Kópavogur as it is a more relaxed atmosphere than downtown Reykjavik which is also very accessible from this location. Extremely well stocked with supplies and all sorts of gadgets and home comforts. Christmas decorations and a small gift for each of the children along with a bottle and chocolates were such a thoughtful and nice touch as we were staying over Christmas Day. Just bear in mind it’s a tourist attraction so if you don’t lock the door you may get an unexpected visitor. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of character and very homely.

We had an amazing stay in the cabin. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful, but still an easy drive to the supermarket (always good when travelling with hungry children). Close drive from the airport and easy to access the major roads for exploring by car. We would love to go back.

This home is exactly as it's marketed. We were a group of 5 men, and we all really enjoyed this house. Sitting in that hot tub, with the freezing landscape around us, was beautiful. We loved this place.

this place is truly a hidden gem. Definitely off the neaten path and not much around that's close food wise, but 1000% worth the extra miles to stay somewhere secluded like this with the magnificent views out the massive windows in the living room and kitchen. it is on the homeowners property, but once inside you feel like you are all by yourself out there. 2 bed, 2 bath and was there by myself but felt very spacious. the interior feels new and is updated with great shower and comfortable beds and couches. would highly recommend to anyone looking for great views and seclusion.

Ha sido un placer alojarnos en este apartamento. La localización es inmejorable y muchas facilidades por parte de Andri. A pesar de que llegamos tardísimo el primer día, no hubo problemas para entrar en el alojamiento. Sorprendió gratamente lo bien equipada que estaba la casa, y especialmente la cocina. Es gab Probleme mit dem Strom aber Katrín hat sofort reagiert und jemanden geschickt, um das Problem zu beheben. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, die Lage am Meer ist super und es ist sehr ruhig. Es war makellos sauber.

Mi estancia fue perfecta , el alojamiento es moderno y limpio , además el anfitrión tiene preparado un kit de elementos de cocina o limpieza , está completamente equipado y realmente me sentí como en casa , me pareció un detallazo que dejara cosas como aceite , azúcar , sal… , además tenía un precioso patio donde jugamos a hacer muñecos de nieve , es una zona tranquila y muy bonita , sin duda es ideal

Oh where to begin! The house: it’s a child’s or child at heart dream “tree house”. Very unique and well constructed by Tolli himself. We had everything we needed. Shower has great pressure and supper hot water (which is a must). Beds are comfy, blankets are warm and plenty of pillows. Our kids loved sleeping on the nets. Tolli graciously provided mattresses for them. The host: very friendly, extremely accommodating and responsive. Plus and very interesting person. As we got to the house, he was just finishing up making a round wood table for the kitchen….fascinating. Almost everything inside is constructed by Tolli himself. Location: restaurants, market and gas station within 2 min. We loved the location itself bc it in the middle of all the places we planned on visiting. The roads are not congested. The scenery around the house is peaceful. There are cats and chickens walking about the yard. If we ever return to Iceland, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Tolli!
