The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Tucked in behind the little boutique clothing shop called Chooks, there are cafes and restaurants literally on your doorstep! Explore the many walking tracks along the Ovens River, catch a movie at the little cinema just around the corner, or jump on your bike and ride one of the cycling tracks that surround the town. Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.
