Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

The "Bird Cottage" is a newly constructed guest house nestled on the edge of our property along the Iberia/St. Martin parish line on Hwy 182. It's the perfect spot for relaxation. The cottage has great sunset views outside and is cozy inside. The front room doubles as a living room/full kitchen. Through a set of French doors-the bedroom and bathroom. The cottage has lots of charm with an artsy "bird" theme. You'll have the entire cottage and immediate yard to yourself.

The charming brick cottage is located on a fenced-in property on a busy street. There are extensive gardens with two large greenhouses and lush garden areas in the back. Trusted volunteers will come work in the garden some days.
