A traditional Bothy built from local granite situated at the foot of Ben Rinnes near Dufftown. A comfortable self catering studio layout boasting a wood fired range for heating, kitchenette, double bed, dining area & a separate bathroom, a few steps from the main entrance. The bothy offers beautiful views of the Corryhabbies, situated in grounds of 6 acres, you can relax and enjoy the local wildlife. With 15 distilleries within 5 miles, this location is ideal to explore the Malt Whisky Capital.

Recharge and connect with nature in our cosy cabin amongst silver birch trees. Feed the red squirrels and the woodpeckers and spot the pine martens, deer and badgers. BBQ by the Burn and just unwind. Alternatively surf at Sandend, follow the whisky trail, play golf on the stunning courses and fish locally. Immerse yourself in the many historical castles and ruins. Light the log burner, cook supper in the quirky kitchen and sleep peacefully in pure linen sheets. Hot water bottles provided!

The Clearing -eco holiday home.

The Clearing is a tranquil eco house that sleeps 6 and also a hidden gallery of original artwork. Our closest town is Huntly which has a castle, golf course, swimming pool,supermarkets, places to eat, and a newly built cinema and café. With a short drive you'll find the area bursts with castles, picturesque coastlines, quaint historic villages, antiquities, golf courses, fishing, distilleries, galleries, children’s activity centres, glorious walks, bike trails, skiing and much more besides.

The Tin Shed, Speyside

Nestled in the beautiful Glen Isla in the heart of Speyside, the Tin Shed is an idyllic glamping hut built in the style of the mountain bothies that pepper the hills. The Tin Shed is only a short drive to the Moray coast with its stunning beaches. Castles, great walks and over 40 whisky distilleries within 30 minutes drive. The local area is also an amazing place to watch wildlife with red squirrels, red deer, pine martens, osprey and dolphins a common sight. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you!

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Unique turret annex in Upper Donside

Our bright yellow Broom now out! Situated in the Cairngorms National Park in Strathdon, a short walk away from the hamlet of Bellabeg. The Turret offers a tranquil setting in 2.5 acres of private woodland, it has its own entrance and is a self-contained totally sound insulated annex to the main house (where the owners live). The setting has spectacular south facing views of the Deeside hills and is surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Completely off the beaten track with glorious dark skies.

This beautifully renovated 'Ghillie's Hideaway' is an escape for couples or small families (travel cot or ready bed provided for children). It is in the heart of Speyside with distilleries, dolphins, beaches and hillwalking in every direction. Fochabers is a beautiful village on the river Spey, we are a stones throw from Gordon Castle and on the Speyside Way. Below a pond and tucked behind a hedgerow on the edge of a permaculture smallholding, our charming shepherds hut is the perfect hideaway for those looking for an eco farm stay or self-made retreat. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Guthrie's Den, Banff. Coastal, sea view retreat

Enjoy the beautiful, ever-changing views from your coastal town hideaway over Banff harbour and bay and across to Macduff. Chill out on the windowseat and just watch the waves roll in. Fresh milk, bread and a few treats await in the welcome pack. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is lots of hot water for a relaxing bath or shower. There are books, games, fast broadband and Netflix. A short stroll takes you to your choice of two fantastic sandy beaches or in to historic Banff.

The Farm Bothy Cottage

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.
