Ferienunterkünfte in Caltowie

Was a lovely experience, the host Chloe was very nice and responsive. We had lots of fun feeding the cows and pigs. The home itself was nice and tidy and relaxing:)

I booked this retreat for my bridal party and me to get ready in and it was perfect! Then me and my husband stayed the night of my wedding and it was great. Lots of room. Nice views! Kangaroos literally come right up to the place it’s so cute. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others if they need to stay in Clare.

Had an amazing time, perfect to relax and just listen to nature. Very private and peaceful which is great.

Extremely spacious home with plenty of beds and lounge areas. The pontoon was a massive highlight for kids. They loved fishing and kayaking from it. Would definitely return.

The old beautiful homestead had all the lovely parts of a big country, family home but with well done modern updates and conveniences. Lots of room for a big family and also great cosy areas. Plenty of wild life (birds, kangaroos, lizards and we were even lucky enough to see a snake - that went on its way quickly). We took advantage of the pizza oven that was easy to use. We would highly recommend!

I had the most wonderful stay in my cabin oasis! Andrea had thought of everything and I didn’t want for anything. I love that feeling of walking into a place and just relaxing immediately in a clean well thought through space! The view from my balcony was just so pretty, I sat for ages with a cuppa listening to the birds and watching the wildlife do their thing. All the extras were incredible too! Milk in the fridge, a breakfast basket, cereal, teas coffees it was perfect - thank you x

Not having planned to stay in Burra (Clare was our first choice), we found both the town and Glenys’ cottage a revelation. The location in a quiet street & neighborhood was an easy walk into town. The cottage retains much of the original features but has a really functional kitchen and bathroom as more recent additions. The ambience is cosy and comfortable. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped through the door. I’d like to say we’ll be back again but it’s unlikely. However, we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Burra or the Clare Valley.

Yates/Pug Cottage is a quirky delightful surprise. We loved the history of the building, and marvelled at the construction. Alison and Chris have done a really nice job of renovating, furnishing and equipping it to modern standards whilst retaining the historical original look and feel. The outside covered enclosed patio is lovely and the garden/yard is well tended and neat. It was a scorching day when we were there, and we were able to stay nice and cool in the house, with an a/c I the living area and another in the bedroom. Thanks Alison and Chris, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend the cottage.
