We loved Hungry Gulch Getaway! A nice feature was the instant hot water; I didnt have to wash the dishes in cold water or wait long for the shower to warm up. There were a lot of spices to cook with, a nice little area to play family games with and an electric fireplace :) Although the road up is bumpy, my Honda Pilot did well. Everything is as it says online. We hope to come back soon!! Thank you!!

We were looking for a peaceful family getaway and it was perfect. This is our second stay at one of Tamar's properties. The cabin is cozy and pet friendly with everything you need including a crate for our 2 dogs. My husband is 6'5 and this is the first place we've stayed where he can fit comfortably in the tub and stand at the kitchen counters without crouching down. The view is so beautiful. You can see so much up there. The hot tub was clean, warm, and easy to use. We were sad we had to go. The barn location is amazing as well. Added to our go to locations when we need to get away from the city.

We had an enjoyable, relaxing time at Shelby's place in Alta Sierra, a wooded area only a few minutes, but a world away, from Lake Isabella. It is a great place to escape the summer heat, with lots of beautiful cedars and little creeks and springs and an abundance of wildlife. The neighborhood is filled with older classic family cabins, and Shelby's was comfortable, well-stocked and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed all of the prints and paintings and touches of nature that decorated the cabin. The bed was very comfortable with soft, high quality linens. We were able to completely unwind with the absence of the internet, and we relaxed to the sound of the breeze blowing through the tall trees and the singing of the many birds. One morning we watched a doe and 2 fawns stop to drink from the spring on the property. And in case we got bored (which we did not as there is so much to do nearby) the cabin has many games, records and a record player, and DVDs and books.

Fantastic stay in a stunning, truly wonderful place - we couldn’t have been happier. Just a shame we could t stay longer! Thank you Sarah for allowing us to stay at your amazing home.

Great place to stay to visit Sequoia National Park! The place was clean, quiet, private and was perfect for a couple. Joyce was kind and responsive and even left us cookies upon our arrival. It was also very nice that she left Keurig cups and some creamer and sugar to make coffee in the morning which was such a nice touch. It was easy to get to both restaurants and the park from this location. I highly recommended staying here!

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view. Perfect for night star gazing. Very roomy. Local market less then 1 mile away.
