This was exceptional. We have rented many places and this was the best. Views of the ocean were incredible and could be easily enjoyed from the living and dining rooms and the porch. The furniture was comfortable and the space was sparkling clean. There was incredible storage space and hooks to meet all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to enjoy fresh fish without going out for every meal and the food stand outside on the street was convenient.

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

These were amazing days in an outstanding place. The house is e exactly as described and the location is perfect if you want to sit and relax looking the sunset. Couldn’t be more appropriate to what we were looking for. House was very clean and had everything we need.

The stay here was excellent. We were looking for a cozy place right near the beach and it delivered. You can open the door and the ocean is right in view. The beach and Pier are within walking distance, among with many local resteraunts. Our main issue was with parking. We took a Chrysler Pacifica van and it wasn't able to fit in the provided garage. We were able to park on the road above the house, but during the summer months that could be an issue. The Marbella offers a parking pass but make sure to let them know ahead of time to have it available. Other than that, it was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful and sparkling clean house, plenty of space and right across the street from Terramar Point, a great surf break. We could see dolphins and seabirds from the large windows of the house. One night we ordered delivery and ate watching the sunset from the rooftop! Anthony and Amanda were so kind and helpful. Lots of great restaurants in Carlsbad. We especially enjoyed dinner one night at Campfire. Incredible food and service. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at this ocean view home! The location is just steps from the shore with breathtaking ocean views from every angle. The house itself is incredibly spacious, offered plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably and had good parking. Everything was clean upon arrival, and the host Sandra was responsive. Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. Rachel and Pete the property manager were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a family with kids. The location is amazing - just a an easy block to the beach and walking distance to restaurants.

Our multigenerational family of six enjoyed our stay at Dan’s Oceanside home, and we will definitely stay here again. If you value privacy, safety, and comfort, you will love Dan’s place for you and your family. We are a no pet, no smoking, no alcohol drinking, no shoes indoors, environmentally conscious family and Dan’s clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing home was the perfect find. If you enjoy cooking like we do, the kitchen is well equipped with excellent quality cookware and appliances. The house does not have central AC but there are ceiling fans, which we used, and portable fans (which we didn’t need to use) as the house gets a nice breeze throughout. If you are sensitive to sound, you can definitely hear some minimal noise from nearby highway and trains, but nothing we couldn’t tolerate. Hot tub operation is remotely controlled and requires contact with Dan to be heated. House manual with information/rules to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, is respectful of property

Outdid the pictures. What a brilliant house and beautiful location. Beach and pool right on your doorstep and so many wonderful places to visit. House was very clean in a safe neighbourhood.

Our second stay here and we will certainly be back. It’s a great place and we felt right at home! Location cannot be beat - near the beach and the village.

This is one of our favorite townhouse among all the Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! 1. It’s very quiet and located in a gated community, which feels safe. 2. It’s close to the ocean. You can’t see the sea directly, but it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. 3. The house is super comfortable and beautiful! The host provided almost everything we needed, which made our stay very convenient—we really appreciated that. 4. The community is lovely, with swimming pools and a large ocean-facing lounge. 5. The location is convenient. Although it’s in North San Diego, it’s only 6 minutes to Del Mar beach park and 30 minutes to the south. The only inconvenience: the host requires guests to wash all towels or pay a $100 fine. This meant we had to start doing laundry the day before check-out. Since check-out is at 10 AM and we also needed to clean the kitchen, we were rushing to wash and dry towels in the morning. This was not convenient. Everything else is very good!

We had such a great Spring Break stay at Tamarack Palms with our two young kids and our pup. The yard and heated pool were the stars—our kids were thrilled to have so much space to play, and even though the weather was cool, the heated pool made it easy to enjoy time outside every day. The location was ideal—peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, Carlsbad Village, and essentials like Von’s. It made daily outings and grocery runs super convenient. Inside, the home was clean, stylish, and well laid out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family, and having a washer and dryer made the whole trip easier. The main living space is cozy but functional, and we felt right at home. Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. No negatives at all—just a peaceful, well-located family stay. We’d absolutely stay again.

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

We loved it! It was a great place to stay with easy access to the highway so it was fast getting south into La Jolla and San Diego and also north up to Carlsbad, Legoland and west to the Safari. The pool was great, the hot tub could’ve been a bit warmer but the kids still loved it.

5 Star stay! The home was absolutely beautiful! Proactive and thoughtful communication made the logistics a breeze. The guide for the home and surrounding area was one of best we’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend!

This homes location was absolutely perfect, and our family appreciated and enjoyed the ample outdoor space so much. The home was quite clean upon check in, and I very much appreciated that it was ready early in the day for us. Denise and Genny were a pleasure to communicate with. To preface, we are a family consisting of 2 adults, a toddler, a newborn and a dog, so we very likely have more belongings than the standard travelers! However, a few items as a longer stay family that I would have appreciated as additions: a closet where I could hang clothing (the closet provided had shelving only), some spices / oils / basics in the kitchen, and a few additional pieces of furniture in the living area (think hooks for jackets, a shoe rack, a small credenza to place things on, etc.). These small details did not at all take away from the incredible experience we had at this home, and we would gladly come back if the opportunity presented.

This beach house is everything and more. You won’t want to leave! We came out to celebrate my birthday and just relax for the holiday with local family. We had a great time. It was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to use the backyard as much as we would’ve liked but sitting in the living room with the door open and listening to the waves was priceless. Heather was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed. Dolphin and surfer watching every day and we even saw a whale. We will definitely be back!!! One tip: try to have a compact car so you can park in the driveway spot. Although, we never had trouble with street parking. My hiccup was the street sweep is early am and I was scared to get a ticket! Easy to work around though and well worth it for the location.

Craig’s place was quiet and cozy!

Spent an incredible couple days here as a group of friends. We saw dolphins and even a whale right from the decks! Amazing walkable options for food, beer, and coffee. Lots of activities (and more food/drink) just a short drive away. The property does show some rental wear and tear around the edges, and the water pressure leaves something to be desired, but the location and ambiance made for an amazing vacation.

This is our second time within 2 years , my family felt right at home will come back again

The place was so cute. Very clean and simple. Our party had two couples and a single person. The guest house afforded privacy for the single traveler and gave everyone kitchen and living room space to escape when they wanted to. The backyard is darling. There are little conversation areas spread out all over the yard with a fireplace for when it got cold. The jacuzzi was right there and used often. The house is a block from downtown San Clemente with lots of shopping and cafes. The beach pier was a ten minute walk. It was a perfect stay.

We had such a blast at Danielle’s place. She gave us so many ideas of what to do with our family while there. The location was walkable to the darling downtown area. The view of the lagoon is beautiful! Communication with Danielle was easy. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful location - great little spot walkable to everything. We had an awesome stay and the private back patio with hot tub was perfect on a dreary winter day.
