I loved my stay at the abandoned zoo! Shawn's an excellent host, and the instructions I received about the arrival were very clear. Shawn showed me around the property on my first day there so I could get a good view of the place, and it was really fun to explore on my own during the next couple of days. He also responded quickly and met me on the trail when I called about trying to find one of the buildings I wanted to see. The elephant room was lovely, with a comfortable bed. Oh, and the adorable goats and chickens are a nice bonus. Thanks so much for an all-around wonderful stay!

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Our room was very clean and decorated in hip country chic. We had fabulous food at their restaurant for a fair price. Scenery beautiful and peaceful. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds. Lovely horses across the street. Host both super friendly. Will definitely come back!

My wife and I stayed at Neil & Kryssy’s while in town for a class reunion. Check-in could not have been easier, and the room was just as described and was immaculate. Our room was close to great restaurants, a tavern, and a great little bakery that was across the street. A bonus was finding out that the Catskill Creek was right nearby as well. Our room was comfortable and was a great place to relax and rest up during our hectic weekend. Neil & Kryssy are great hosts whose place helped make our weekend even more relaxing.

We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

Easy, old timey place with self-check in. Bill was very nice and easy, room was warm on a cold night, would stay again.

10 stars! A really great quiet getaway. Its gorgeous.. every little detail from the meticulous garden to well crafted and decorated rooms. Host is stellar and cares so much about her property, and her guests and it shows.. thank you for treating us like family. We will be back. Dan & Denise

Easy to find and nice location. A great local restaurant is walking distance to the hotel. Clean room.

The hotel was absolutely adorable. So chic and cute, the room itself was beautiful. Right on the main strip with all of the cute restaurants and shops, we had an amazing time. There was a coffee bar on each floor with an espresso machine and coffee pot, it was great. I will be staying again!
