Giraffe Room - The Old Catskill Game Farm Inn

Stay at The Giraffe Room inside what used to be the Giraffe Barn at The Old Catskill Game Farm. Located inside an abandoned zoo of what was once America's largest and first privately owned zoo. You can explore the grounds, go in the animal shelters and be secluded in 200+ acres with 3.5 miles of paved walkways while witnessing nature take back an American landmark. The inn features a full kitchen, outdoor hot tub and fire-pit. Decorated with remnants of The Catskill Game Farm. This is our most luxurious suite, the only King room, located on the main level of the Inn. It includes a walk in shower in the en-suite bathroom and a 3 person Jacuzzi tub in the main room. Sleep 3 in the king size bed or a please request a cot for the 3rd person. This is the Verona Suite. $215/night This room is for two adults only. It’s an adult hideaway. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. A private bathroom, tiled shower with a rain shower head from the ceiling. A softly lit romantic loft and a chandelier above the queen size bed with down pillows. It's private and A/C, Wifi, and Cable Smart TV. A hot Breakfast is served Thursday-Sunday. Other days have an assortment of breakfast foods and hot coffee. All days 8-10am

Howland House is a ten-room inn in a restored 1870's farmhouse in Mount Tremper, NY. We're nestled in the mountains but just minutes to incredible farm-to-table dining, hiking, skiing, antique-ing, and many local wedding venues. With unique touches throughout the inn like lime wash walls and custom-built furniture, you will feel both inspired and at-home the minute you walk in.
