Loch Harport Pods are situated in an area on the Isle of Skye, called Fernilea. Overlooking the impressive and beautiful Loch Harport, this quiet crofting community is one mile past the world famous Talisker distillery, one of many fabulous attractions the Island has to offer. Other near-by must see's are the Fairy pools on the road to Glen Brittle, and also Talisker beach. The pods are equipped with a mini fridge, cooking and dining facilities. One double bed, a sofa, and electric shower.

Built from hemp and timber, the cabin feels naturally warm and calm. The walls regulate temperature well, so it stays comfortable year-round without feeling sealed or artificial. Inside, the layout is simple and uncluttered, with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Grants House

An original Skye Croft House, overlooking Loch Harport with views to the Cuillins. Its just a three minute drive from the village of Carbost with its “Old Inn” pub, restaurant and trad music sessions, the “Cafe Cuil” restaurant, a coffee shop, the “Talisker Distillery” with its tours and it’s off shoot “Three Chimneys at Talisker” The house is furnished with my mix of old with the modern & of course the essential log stove for chilly nights

Licence: HI30062R. Chalet. 3 night stay or more. Located within the owners grounds 3 miles from Carbost. Transport essential. A combined living/bedroom/kitchen area provides: a comfortable KS bed, table with 2 chairs , large cupboard, kitchenette containing: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, combi microwave/grill, airfryer and toastie maker. Additionally there is a walk in wet room and a shed for boots and bikes. Outdoor seating is provided.
