Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. This beautiful little cottage is close to the village centre and is perfect for couples looking a relaxing trip. The stunning views can be enjoyed on the deck along with the hot tub. It is included Friday and Saturday at no extra cost but is an extra 30€ midweek and 10€ each day after the first day Sunday to Friday on request as it takes time to fill and heat up. Must be Paid prior to arrival and notice given to switch on. Christmas/New year Holidays and all bank holidays are 20 percent extra

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
