Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. We are rural and not served by incredible internet speeds.

The old farm building has been recently renovated featuring a spacious open plan living, a kitchen which is fitted with all main appliances & dining area & 2 bedrooms (1 en suite). We are situated near historical areas such as Béal na Bláth Ambush & Kilmichael Ambush & also 1 mile away from the village where you can enjoy a night out and lovely pizzas in the pub.

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

The space is suitable for a family of 4 or a group of 4 friends. There is a sofa bed for extra guests above 2 at an extra cost. The space has an open lounge style kitchen with ample space with all kitchen amenities provided . There is cool art we have collected from our travels all over the world.

Come and experience life on a working dairy farm and you can even help milk the cows if you'd like to. The cottage has all the conveniences of a modern home including a washing machine, oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. It has oil central heating. We have free wifi for your use. The Storehouse is located on the grounds of our family home at the rear of the property. It is accessed via our farm laneway and an electric gate.
