The Hen House Cottage is a tiny house located on an historic farm in central Maryland. It is surrounded by six acres of beautiful pasture and gardens. The Cottage has great light throughout the day, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, large fridge, etc.), a full bathroom (with shower), a sleeping area with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dedicated (free) wi-fi, a smart TV, blue tooth sound system, and an eclectic library. We are set up for a quiet retreat for 2 people. Additional guests must be approved in advance. No parties!

You’ll find the relaxation you’re seeking in this home minutes outside Frederick! Convenient to wedding venues, wineries, rural craft breweries and golf/disk courses. The home is not an apartment or shared space. We absolutely do not spray the yard for bugs and we invite birds and pollinators. If that’s not your thing, this spot may not be for you. *No recent reviews because we chose not to have it listed this past winter and spring.

The Red Barn

The Red Barn is located in a very rural setting about 10 miles from Gettysburg. The Red Barn is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and within a stone's throw of the Mason Dixon Line. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The cabin is located within minutes to the city of Frederick, Gettysburg and Cunningham falls state park. For an extra $50 a night we have a beautiful pool bar available. It is equipped with heat, a/c. 65 inch TV, bar stools, speaker and led lights everywhere.
