We absolutely loved our stay! We cannot wait to come back. Next time we will be bringing the whole family. We had zero issues through our entire eight day stay. I cannot recommend this adorable Elizabethton home enough.

My family stayed here for a week and it was great! Carissa was a wonderful host. The house was clean, and there were no bugs seen inside at all - and hardly even any bugs outside. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Nice TV and kitchen. Loved it!

Very cozy, everything we needed, will come back if in the area again!

very secluded and peaceful. spent mornings listening to the wild turkeys and evenings watching the deers graze. beautiful mountain view. Very basic amenities ie cooking and baking dishes but limited silverware which is no big deal we just bought some plastic to use as needed. old iron tub in 1 bathroom was so nice after a long day at the track. plenty of room for a large family or group of friends. outdoor grill worked great for steaks. back porch overlooks a field and mountain view. plenty of outdoor space. large porches and fire ring. each time I reached out to James he responded quickly. highly recommend

Our stay was great, exactly what we needed for our short visit to Johnson City! Close to the NASCAR track and my picky son even thought the sofa bed was great. Would stay again if we're ever back in the area. Host was very responsive!

Libby’s home was amazing. We came for the NASCAR race. It was super convenient to the track. And there were lots of shopping and restaurants near her home. Her home was also in an amazing area. We enjoyed the porch since the weather was so nice. There were cows across the street and for us city folks we really enjoyed hearing them. Libby’s home was beautiful. So very clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were so soft. We also enjoyed walking into the house to a wonderful scent. Libby communicated so well. We had no issues at the house but she did message to let us know that we could check in early if we arrived before 3. She also messaged us to make sure that we had no issues with access and had settled in well. I would recommend her home to anyone. We will be staying here again if she allows us to. Thank you, Libby, for being such an amazing host!

Russell's lake house was beautiful! Had any amenity we could have needed and more. Russell was a great host and quick to respond to our request! Hope to be back soon :)

Thank you for your kind hospitality, Keith! It was exactly what we needed and provided us with a great night’s sleep to prep us well for the next day. Very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water for showers, quiet and peaceful surroundings. It is obvious that you have put a lot of thought and time to making the Red Door Cottage a place that will make guests want to return.

Samantha's place was a fantastic stay during our trip to the Bristol area. The apartment was spacious, very cozy and homey, and was supplied with everything you could ever need or want during a trip. The location was great as well, with Bristol and Johnson City just a short drive away. If you are looking to stay in the area, I couldn't recommend booking with Samantha enough!

Great location & price for a peaceful space and accomodating host. We loved the nearby caverns, waterfalls and Grandfather Mountain. Highly recommend this Airbnb. Thanks so, so much Eunice for being flexible, professional and kind. Would absolutely stay again.

This little apartment is big on charm and big on comfort. We stayed for a number of months while our house was being built. It made the wait far more tolerable. It had all that we needed and a whole lot more! How many places offer a private sauna! We also had a private deck with a bbq grill, and a nice outdoor dinning table that looked over the pond filled with bluegill fish! There is so much beauty in this area to explore. We hiked trails with lots of streams, waterfalls and magnificent views. We also spent time boating and swimming on nearby Watauga lake. We hadn’t gone rafting or tubing yet, but it’s on our list! Patrick and Norma our such wonderful host. You cannot go wrong if you decide to stay here in paradise.

Great place to stay and very quiet. It had everything I needed. Clear check-in instructions, and it was easy to come and go without the host needing to be there. Very clean! I will stay there again when in town.

Great place to stay for a couple nights while in town to fish. The place was clean and had all we needed. We would stay again. However, the drive was a bit muddy with a big mud hole to dodge coming and going. The yard around the place needs cleaning up. We thought we were in the wrong place at first due to the clutter. Not much for curb appeal but the inside was very nice.

I booked a stay at Carrol's place while I was in TN looking for a place to live, and it was hands down the best rental experience I've ever had. She is so kind and hospitable, and it was wonderful getting to know her and her furry friends! The apartment is very cozy, was super clean, and has everything you need including a full kitchen. Very peaceful surroundings and you can see the mountains from the driveway! I sadly had to cut my trip short, but would 1100% stay again if I'm back in the area. Thank you Carrol!

This was our second year at Sugar mountain and first time at Allan’s place! The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to bake my homemade treats. Lots of pots and pans for your stay! The place was very spacious and the view well it’s just immaculate. Would stay again! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Definitely a cozy place to stay! Everything was clean and extra stuff were provided. The sofa bed was not as comfortable for older people like me or my friend, but the bed was a dream to sleep in cause our backs didn't hurt by morning! Amazing! And the view out the window is spectacular! We love the balcony which you get to see the summit of Sugar Mountain as well as the town to the north. Easy walk to the ski slope that we did for a day hike in April. The checkout is one of the most simplest to do. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone's trip to Sugar Mountain!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place! The condo was beautiful and peaceful and a great setup for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy! There are plenty of activities at the resort and surrounding areas to stay busy and entertained as well. We enjoyed the indoor pool, Tweetsie Railroad, and Downtown Blowing Rock playground and many restaurants! Nicole was a wonderful host and was very helpful and responsive. We definitely plan to return and stay again!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

Liz and Chris have a wonderful condo, the walk to the slopes is very short, and they have a private locker available on the slopes to store ski gear, which makes the walk even easier.

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Fabby is a wonderful host! The beautiful unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I see the care Fabby puts into making guests very comfortable for their stay. We adored being so close to the slopes. We could see the chair lift from the balcony. I highly recommend this location. We would love to return.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
