The house is spacious and sufficiently furnished. It’s in a back alley and this way mostly quiet. Not very central so a motorbike rental is recommended, one bike is included with the place. Enjoy the local food just a few doors down which is a hidden treasure. Great for a few nights stay, easy communication. Be aware that the mattress is on the harder side, if your sensitive for that.

Without a doubt, one of our best experiences in airbnb.. they claim to be a homestay but, if in anyway possible, they should just say 'home'.. Tam is a home maker in the true sense of the word.. Not just for her family but also us who went there as guests.. From the travel plans to the everyday meals to the home scooter( given for free) and so much more ( the 'home wine' is a great touch that makes you feel at home)...the breakfast was wonderful, will all my food intolerances taken care of. Tam, Quyen and An..made us their family and we are truly grateful to them... An absolute must for the hospitality...

Everything was perfect, very well located with many shops around and the motorbike rental is very cheap. Xuân is very nice and helpful. The vegan restaurant is also great!

We loved our stay on this floating home. The peaceful location on the water watching the birds fly around, villagers boating around, and the fish jump was exceptional. The care of Linh and his wife Ha made us feel like family. They are so kind and attentive. And Linh is an amazing chef- the food was five stars! One of our favorite experiences!

Great little place if you’re looking for a no-frills spot to have direct access to national forest. Gecko and his team were phenomenal! Very responsive to all of our requests. Food served right there at the homestay was excellent! Three very well-behaved puppies were hanging around for a much-needed puppy fix. This is a good spot for the price. That said, I want to emphasize this location is no frills. If you’re looking for a bit more luxurious accommodations, this may not be for you.

I was at Quang's place when we got hit by the biggest typhoon the island ever suffer. I can certify that Tiny House is typhoon proof 👌 The host helped me with food and additional utensils, he also shared his owner's generator's electricity and a random neighbor's wifi he managed to guess 😅 Typhoon apart, the room is really cozy and spatious. It felt nice staying inside. The bedding is spot on, the softness and sizes of the pillows are perfect and the sheets are also really soft. The accommodation is located among the local neighborhood but still just 5mn walk away from the tourists street.

We had a great stay on the Island of Cat Ba. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable including a washing machine which was helpful when travelling light. Minh provided lots of information on what was available to us on the island. The previous guests left early so my husband and grandson were able to get in early. They arrived around 8:30 am after a 12 hour bus ride from the Northern part of Vietnam so they really appreciated getting early admittance. The home was very colourful and had a front veranda which was a perfect place to unwind after a day of activity. My husband appreciated being able to rent a motorcycle at the homestead which made our stay even more enjoyable, as we were able to get around the island on our own. The AirBnB is off the beaten path but not far from the waterfront. There was ample space for several guests and I would definitely recommend for a family or group of friends. Anh war super freundlich. Es war immer jemand erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Morgens konnten wir dort gemütlich Frühstücken und der Kaffee war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had such an amazing stay at the Blue Lagoon. The location is set back from the main road and very peaceful. Hai is an incredibly thoughtful and responsive host - it was my partner’s birthday and he made us cocktails on the house and helped us to order takeaway to eat at the Airbnb (we loved the setting so much we wanted to have birthday dinner in)! When it rained overnight he left an umbrella outside our cabin for us and when we wanted coffee the morning we were leaving he made them for us on the house as we had already paid. The coffee is incredible and Hai gave us a tutorial of how to make it ourselves when we get round to buying our own filter. The dog and cats are gorgeous and so friendly, we miss them already. The only issue we had was with the sewage smell from the bathroom, which other people have previously commented on. Despite this we thoroughly recommend staying here!
