Ferienunterkünfte mit Kamin in Central Highlands Council

We had a very pleasant and calm 4-nights stay, the house is beautiful, comfy and well equipped. Surroundings and highlands lakes are beautiful and not crowded. The view from the terrasse is indeed stunning and the name of the place (stunning lake view) is deserved ! The host gave clear instructions, was friendly and immediately responsive each time we had to contact her. We do recommend it !

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful modern cabin in the highlands. The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable - the perfect cozy retreat. One of our favorite features was the lovely wood heater right in the middle of the cabin, with plenty of wood thoughtfully prepared for us, making the evenings warm and relaxing. On arrival, we were also welcomed with a delightful gift basket, a really kind and personal touch that made us feel instantly at home. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed getaway.

Our stay on Kim's place was definitely one for the books. Even my children enjoyed the stay and my plan of them getting off the gadgets worked out so well. A good way to spend the Easter. We loved the place and the going back in time vibes. The only con is finding the place. It took us 30mins going round and round, I can't contact Kim as I had no reception that time. Also the door in the bathroom was not closing properly. Lastly, it was a cloudy night, I was excited to see the stars but was unlucky. Wished we could stay one more night.

We loved staying at Melinda and Liz’s cottage. It was well equipped and very cosy with an easy to use wood stove. The cottage is very private and has a beautiful setting amongst paddocks and mature forest. On our walks on the property we spotted two wombats, deer and numerous wallabies.

We had a wonderful break at The Lake Retreat. This home was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean & so very peaceful. The kitchen had everything you could wish for & would be suitable for large groups. We appreciated the comfy beds, quality linen, towels & bath products that were provided for our stay. There were many extra touches to make you feel welcome & at home. Peter was always friendly & fantastic with all communications. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wishing to get away from it all in this area of Tasmania. Thank you for having us, we would love to return some day 🙂

One of the most unique places we have stayed in. Whilst I thought we would be in the middle of nowhere, it is surrounded by other cottages but you wouldn’t know it once you step inside. I cannot recommend this gorgeous little cottage highly enough. Unwind, curl up with a book, light the fire and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The bed is in the most wonderful nook - I can’t remember the last time I slept so soundly, as if in a cocoon. The linen is superb! Photos and descriptions do not do this place justice. Thank you for sharing your special place with us!

We had a most wonderful time at this obviously-loved cottage. Plenty to do even if you're not into fishing. We cycled, and kayaked and walked and explored the stunning area. And relaxed with a red wine in front of the fire. Perfectly clean, comfortable and homely and we can't wait to book our next trip

Absolutely beautiful and simply gorgeous cottage in stunning scenery and so peaceful. Great attention to detail and really thoughtful extras! Thoroughly recommend!

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay at The Doctor's. Sitting near the fire, enjoying a wine and looking at the incredible view will be one of our holiday highlights.
