Tout simplement fabuleux ! Villa extrêmement paisible, au milieu de la végétation luxuriante et des oiseaux face au fleuve. Très belles prestations, même au au delà de nos attentes. Il faut absolument que je mentionne Pushpakhanth, le gardien de la villa qui vous emmène partout en Tuck Tuck, toujours présent à la moindre demande et sachant se faire discret. Et la chère Gajanthusitha, cuisinière hors pair, et très gentille. Les échanges avec eux ont aussi permis de mieux connaître les us et coutumes du Sri Lanka. J’ai également pu bénéficier, grâce au réseau de Nimal, à des cours de yoga quotidien à la villa de très bonne qualité avec Mahesh Kodikara (qui pratique aussi la méditation) et à de merveilleux massages Ayurveda avec une masseuse qui se déplace également. Le tout dans un cadre extraordinaire. Ce séjour fait parti de nos plus beaux voyages.

We had a lovely stay at the Gracian Villa in Kandy. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool, such a peaceful spot with amazing views, especially having breakfast outside and at sunset. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-kept, and the staff were so helpful and kind. It’s in a quiet area but within a 10 minute taxi to the town. The host was friendly and responsive throughout. Overall, a really relaxing experience which we would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chill getaway in the hills whilst being touching distance to all of Kandy’s treasures.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Everything—from the warm welcome by the team, to the delicious food, to the stunning view over the lake—was just perfect. Kumar took excellent care of us, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My entire stay at Edgar Mansion was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor. Every corner of the house exuded a sense of elegance and warmth, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Chef Reggie and his talented team. Not only did they prepare extraordinary meals that delighted the senses, but they also went above and beyond to attend to all our needs with genuine care and professionalism. Their dedication truly elevated the entire experience.

Pravishtah and Nimal were very responsive and helpful . The House was a bit smaller than what we expected . Overal it was a very pleasant stay.

The Raintree Retreat is a real gem! The property is huge and therefore each bookable house comes with a lot of privacy. The nature is stunning with fishes, turtles, lizards, monkeys and so many exotic birds to watch (incl. Kingfishers). At nighttime we even saw many fireflies. And to our surprise there are hardly any moskitos thanks to the fishes. Beside this amazing nature-experience our highlight were the hosts and their utmost welcoming and caring manner. Sue and her husband are such lovely people and we enjoyed the time we spend together. Uthpala took us even to a nearby river and we had a dip in the fresh water together. Our kids loved it! On top of all that we were really blown away by the ultra yummy food. Home cooked srilankan dishes in the evening and a great breakfast, always trying to match our kids taste (not spicy and lots of waffles and pancakes ;-) Thanks again for making our holidays sooo great!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, somewhat remote, villa with amazing surroundings. We walked down to the river, did yoga on the patio and had Ayurvedic treatments next door. The owner is a charming person with a beautiful vision for the place. He was very friendly and took time out to show us around the garden and let us try fresh herbs and spices. I would recommend to have a car so that you can get to Kandy and visit all beautiful and inspiring sights the area has to offer.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The photos don’t do it justice, it is truly stunning! Champ and his parents were all so lovely, made us feel so welcome. They organised an amazing tour of all the local sights by tuk tuk for us, and the breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t fault this place at all.

The stay was idyllic, surrounded by mountains, nature, and peace. It’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Food was available 24/7, with Justin offering a great mix of local and international dishes, and was very accommodating with off-menu requests. The seclusion adds to the charm, but transport options like Uber or tuk-tuks aren’t easily accessible. Given the remote location, partial transportation could be included in the price or made easier to arrange. Yapa, the personal driver, was efficient and reliable, but having a clear price list for day trips, supermarket runs, and local travel would be very helpful. Overall, a peaceful and special experience
