It was so nice and beautiful I had an amazing 21st birthday there. It was so peaceful and quiet the only problem is that the neighbors dog did come over and play and he was nice to everyone but he did try and attack my little puppy. Beside that I had a fantastic time

This was our 2nd time back. Our first time, the lake level was high. This time we enjoyed walking down to the lake from the cabin, talking about us walking on the bottom of the lake. :) If I had brought my water shoes I might have decided to still go for a swim. The kitchen is perfect for cooking great meals. I always come prepared with my cooler full of good things to cook. I asked Kyle and he said "definitely"we could have our son and his aunt over for dinner. My husband grilled the steaks and they were great! (Bring your own charcoal). It is a nice and peaceful area and far enough away from light pollution to see some bright stars!

brad was always responsive and answered questions that we had, quickly. beautiful place! hot tub was amazing. Great place or privacy and an alone weekend. Will stay again for sure!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an exceptional experience at this place. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was exactly as described, if not better! The cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches made my stay incredibly enjoyable. The location was perfect. My host was incredibly responsive, ensuring I had everything I needed, and their hospitality truly went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming, and hassle-free stay, I can’t recommend this place enough. I would absolutely return and encourage others to book with confidence. Highly recommend! We spent several wonderful days enjoying this property – relaxing on the upper deck and around the areas closer to the water. We enjoyed watching the deer roam around the property and watching our dog watch the deer. We also saw lots of monarch butterflies and a fox. The view of the lake is beautiful, and the property is so serene. We were also pleased at how many great restaurants there were in the area. Pamela and her son, Sam, were very nice and helpful and responsive.

We had a great time, the house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend, we loved watching the deer every morning. And loved how the area was quite and relaxing.

This place is a GEM!! Drove down from Dallas for a 3 day 2 night stay while in town for a wedding at a local venue (Moon Shadow Haven). it was a perfect location... only an 8 minute drive to the venue. Roads are pretty curvy and remote however our host left very detailed instructions and we had no problems finding it and securing keys and gate remote after 10pm. The inside is even cuter in person and perfect for the 2 of us and our small dog. There are so many thoughtful touches to this place, from the kitchen to the bathroom, this has everything you could possibly need. Don't waste time or money on a cold overpriced hotel, stay at the Stargazer and it's like staying with family! There are 2 other cabins on this property however far enough from Stargazer that you have comfort and privacy. We enjoyed time on the wrap around porch and wish we had more time off work and could stay longer. Highly recommend and would stay here again if we find ourself in this part of Texas again!
