If you want to get away from it all you'd be hard pushed to find a better place to go to. We loved it! Hugh and Jude have created a wonderful haven of tranquillity. Ty Twt was a perfect base for us to walk a stretch of the coastal path and visit a National Trust property. It was cosy and had all the things we needed to make our trip very comfortable.

We’ve had a fantastic time at Albro House. The house is stunning and has real history and character to place- it’s quite special and located in a peaceful countryside. The cut flowers around the house is a lovely touch with beautiful views of the fields and river beyond. There is a beautiful courtyard and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. Lots of space for our group of 12 and kids to run around and it was really well equipped for all our needs. Pete was also an excellent host and on hand should we need anything, which we didn’t really! Highly recommend a visit to nearby Poppit sands and Mwnt beach as well as the local chippy and Tuesday Market next to the abbey. Can’t wait to return!

My teenage daughter and I had the most lovely 4 days in the valley. Lucky with the weather but it wouldn’t have mattered if it had drizzled throughout. The cosy, quirky - just perfect cottage had everything we needed and more. Alice & Louise were on hand, door literally open, had we needed anything. The location was stunning, the quiet but for the dawn chorus & lambs in the day then owls in the night, was very welcome. Neither of us had slept so well in a very long time! Very comfy beds! Hot water on tap - really decent shower, with lovely organic toiletries supplied too. We’re already planning our return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is a special cottage in a special location. We really enjoyed staying here; it was very peaceful and in a beautiful setting, perfect for getting away from it all. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and do different things. The games room and the cinema barn were a real bonus for our teenagers. The cosy sitting rooms were lovely in the evening to either watch T.V. or do jigsaw puzzles. There are lovely hills to climb with plenty of views. The dog was happy playing ball in the enclosed garden. A few cheeky sheep managed to squeeze their way into the garden from the field behind, but were soon barricaded out again! The beds were comfy and the cottage is so quiet and dark at night, we slept really well - good for star gazing. It isn't far to the sea by main road or over the mountains. We didn't want to leave - we'll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

The guest house was in midst of the Rheidol valley and surrounded by a serene valleys and farmlands. If you would like to spend a few days in a peaceful quiet village the place is for you, the atmosphere calms you down. We took the Rheidol Steam Railway from Aberystwyth to the Devil's bridge and when the train is on the top of the valley you can see the house from the other side. my daughter got really excited finding the house from the train. The valley is picturesque and beautiful, you will enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Beautiful home, secluded, lots of safe space for dogs to roam around in. Would happily stay again.

Staying at Cae’r Beili in April was magical. Meryl was friendly and warm as she introduced us to the beautiful converted barn. The air was full of the sounds of sheep and their lambs with easy viewing from the lovely glass-enclosed sunroom. Looking out across the Carmarthenshire hills is a soothing experience and we enjoyed a long walk through the fields to the waterfall and back. The accommodations worked very well for our family (two children and four adults, one with limited mobility). If you want to experience the heart of rural Wales I highly recommend coming to Cae'r Beili - you may experience a little "hiraeth" after you return home.

I had a lovely relaxing stay at this air bnb. It was very cosy and clean. There was plently of equipment in the kitchen and didnt feel I was missing anything. Bed was super comfy and location is very sweet next to the lovely garden. The one thing I would say is the hob outside isn't the best choice for rainy Wales. I couldn't get the hob to stay lit because of the wind so had to contact the owners. They were obviously busy so took a while to get back to me but once they got home they were super helpful and moved the hob inside for me, which worked great.

My husband, pooch (Patch) and myself had a lovely long weekend! The cottage and the setting are stunning! Patch enjoyed being off the lead, running through the vines and the river! We would definitely stay again.

Thank you Evan for a great family stay at your place.We all enjoyed the large rooms and small play area for the children.The hot tub was great.Thank you for the farm yard tour and the time you spent with all of us explaining about the animals and farming life.We all had great fun feeding the lambs and calfs.(well worth the money).This is a working farm and the staff are very friendly.The kids loved the farms working sheep dogs.The stay was amazing.The only hardship was the farm road leading up to the house from the main road.(not suited for cars with low ground clearance).but Evan is working on this.Great stay and fun time.

The most perfect stay at the Piggery. The house is absolutely gorgeous with so much character , the garden is perfect and the views are outstanding. Nicola has thought of absolutely everything you could possibly want or need during your stay. So many really thoughtful touches that made the stay so special. She went above and beyond to source us high chairs and cots for our twins to save us bringing them and was so accommodating with all our request. We are so excited to return after a perfect weekend.

Such a beautiful cottage, atmosphere and view with incredible hospitality from host. Couldn’t asked guy or a better location and host anything was never too much trouble. You had everything you needed. I didn’t want to come home as it was that homely / enjoyable. Thank you once again for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. We’ll deffo be back next year 💙

A seriously brilliant place, all round! As previous reviews said - the place is EVEN better than the photos. Actually the photos don’t do it justice. It’s honestly a beautiful house, location and super peaceful. Would definitely recommend and go again!! Perfect for families or a friend getaway for a epic views and a relax

It was a very peaceful and private space with separate small living room, kitchenette and bedroom. The whole unit was very clean and tidy. We were visiting friends and did not spend a lot of time staying or cooking in the place. So can't comment on that. But we had really good sleep as the room was warm and cosy. We forgot to turn on the heater for the first night and it was still quite liveable. Will come back again if we are in this part of Wales again.

I had a lovely stay at the cabin, everything was clean and as described. It was surprisingly warm even in colder weather. Eirene was very quick to respond with every query that I had and made sure that we get to the place with very little problem. I would highly recommend this host to anyone and can’t wait to comeback to her place :D

We very much enjoyed our stay at the barn. The daily allocation of a one hour booking in the private pool is lovely. The barn was beautifully clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. A lovely selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolates along with some Welsh cakes and Kit Kats were left for us on arrival, which was a lovely. The location is ideal for exploring west Wales. We did feel all the properties they rent out are all very close together. Much closer than we had anticipated from the pictures. One thing that we felt was a negative was that the hot tub at the front of the property was very much visible from the walkway where everybody walks around. There was no privacy when using the hot tub, I feel it could definitely be given a little more privacy, it was fine for the kids but I’m a little more reserved when in a swimming costume so it put me off using it. Overall though it’s a lovely place, lovely friendly hosts, we would return and recommend it.

Ohhh I can’t praise Rachel and Gary’s place enough! Stunning cottage! So peaceful! A real home from home, cosy and everything you could possibly need under one roof! Pristine and spotless! The kingsized bed is phenomenal!!!!!! We had the best sleep ever! Such a spacious place! Plenty of room to move around and read in! Garden is fabulous and the hot tub which we didn’t get to use this time as the weather was a bit drizzly our first night but we’ll definitely be back in warmer weather! Amazingly helpful and the information pack was brilliant! Easy, clear instructions. They thought of everything! Such attention to detail! Peaceful surroundings. We could hear owls at night and birds tweeting and sheep bleating in the daytime. The kitchen had everything you need, the shower is fantastic! The upper floor is so lovely and the sofa is super comfortable! What a place! We loved it! Our little Cavapoo Ted settled in right away too! We can’t wait to return! Fabulous place and fabulous hosts! :)

We had a lovely stay at Jane & Gary’s cottage. It’s in a beautiful part of the world and the cottage was extremely cosy and well equipped. It has that rustic old school charm along with all the modern touches it’s so nice to have. Fantastic hosts who gave us lots of privacy but were always on hand to help us if needed. I would highly recommended this as a place to stay for a couple. Lots to see and do. Also - fantastic bed and mattress. Very fussy sleeper here and I slept like a log on all 3 nights! Thanks!!

John's place is amazing. The house is very clean and spacious with an outdoor area for the bbq. We loved the quiet surroundings. I highly recommend the property.

We had a wonderful few days at Daniel’s cottage—it exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts were friendly and very responsive, and the house itself was spotless. The surrounding area is stunning, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing stay. The fast and reliable Wi-Fi was a much-appreciated bonus, and the hot tub was the cherry on top—such a great way to unwind. Overall, it was exactly what we needed to slow down and escape the hustle and bustle of life in England. We would definitely come back!

The granary was absolutely lovely, we had a great weekend around Aberaeron and Aberystwyth and the granary was a lovely place to come back and relax after the long days

Such a perfect peaceful cottage. We had a great time unplugging, stargazing and enjoying the nature whilst in the hot tub. Would 100% recommend. Friendly hosts and we had the best time.

We had such a lovely and memorable stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful — they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, even providing us with extra washing tablets when we asked. One of the highlights was the tour of their beautiful farm. They took the time to walk us through it, and we were lucky enough to witness a sheep giving birth to triplets — such a special and unforgettable experience! The paddle boats were a fun bonus — we used them a few times and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The whole place had such a calming and relaxing vibe, perfect for a quiet getaway. The house itself was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with genuinely lovely hosts and a touch of nature!

What an amazing place to find! A lovely walk to a gorgeous local beach, hot tub and sea views, friendly donkeys and a lovely space to hang out. We all had a great weekend and would love to return! Anna was very welcoming and responsive , thank you so much.
