Will definitely return but I was sorry to see it is for sale. hoping someone as special as the current owner scoops it up and continues the great service. very accommodating even though I accidentally booked the wrong night. Grateful for the kindness and comfy space provided.

Great stay and fun activities at salida downtown

Great place to stay just outside of Salida. Friendly folks running it. Absolutely loved the bathtub!

I LOVED this spot! The location can’t be beat if you’re looking to spend time on Main Street. The little balcony had Mountain Views but made you feel like you were still involved with what was happening in town. There were options to shop things from the unit like robes and outdoor gear, and the decor was so fun! The apartment was spotless and had anything you could need. Any time I messaged the host, I got a response within minutes and they were helpful and easy to work with. I can’t wait to stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Pitkin. The host was very welcoming and invited my girls for a duck race outside by the stream and the girls continued the fun on the 2nd night. Overall, a nice and quaint place to stay!

Perfect size for a solo traveller or a couple that's looking to spend more time outdoors exploring the beautiful surroundings than staying inside. Robin and her husband are very thoughtful. They made sure I made it to the cabin with no issues when they didn't see a vehicle outside and knew I was supposed to be there. I would highly recommend their lodging at the Stumbling Moose for those looking for a good basecamp to explore SW Colorado!
