I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

Pour commencer nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rester dans ce logement en raison d’une erreur de date. Toutefois, l’hôte très proactif nous a proposé un autre logement tout aussi beau et encore plus grand au même tarif ( Villa Hiru Sindu). À quelques minutes à pied de la plage, cette villa offre un jardin et un espace vert verdoyant et calme. Nous avons même aperçu des singes sur les arbres fruitiers de la propriété. D’ailleurs, il nous faut mentionner la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui habite à quelques mètres de la maison. Elle nous a accueilli avec un immense sourire et des jus frais de son jardin. Pour un séjour de dernière minute nous étions très bien ! Il faut toutefois noter qu’il n’y a pas de filet à moustiques au dessus des lits ce qui peut être un inconvénient pour certains voyageurs. Comme la villa est nouvellement accessible, il s’agit d’un des elements potentiels à ajuster pour le futur. Somme toute, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour!

Traumhaft schöne und nicht weit von einem tollen Strand mit einem gut kleinen Restaurant wo man mit den Füssen im Sand ist. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gross und eine wunderschöne Aussicht.

This place is so beautiful! In the jungle, peaceful, lovely dogs around, sounds of nature, no traffic! Rooms are big and spacious! It’s two floors with each a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. We only used one floor, downstairs! Orcheedas Mum lives next door, she speaks no English which is absolutely fine - we always found our way doing laundry together or whatever we needed! I really recommend this place ☺️

We loved the sound of the sea and appreciated the comfortable beds and airconditioning. The fact that the property is enclosed with space for our toddler to play was convenient. Anke had great recommendations; including for nearby beaches with that was ideal for our toddler. The restaurant on the other side of the beach has great coffee. And I enjoyed the surf lesson provided by local surfing school very much. The spa at the Anantara nearby was excellent. All in all we had a lovely family holiday. There were personal touches and extra treats that were much appreciated.

I’ve travelled around Asia for 4 years now and this is by far the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. The beds are so comfy, the kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you need, the AC works perfectly, both bedrooms have en-suites and the location is perfect - just a 5 minute walk to the beach, right next to the traditional market and a small walk to the main area / shops. My partner and I both work online and found the WiFi to be extremely fast and reliable - it worked perfectly for all video calls and uploads/downloads. What made the trip extra special was how lovely and attentive the host family were - they were always quick to reply to any questions, always happy to help, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They are just genuinely lovely, kind people who made us feel so at home during our 1 month stay. We also rented a bike from them which was in perfect condition and very reliable! I would highly recommend staying here :) 10/10!

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly
