The cottage is approx. 400 years old, with lots of character & has been sympathetically decorated & furnished. The Master Bedroom has a memory foam mattress & has en-suite a second bathroom is found on the ground floor with a memory foam mattress. The cottage has private car parking & is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. On arrival a key is located in a key box to enable you to arrive at a time that suits you (after 3.00 pm). Joan's Cottage is also pet friendly (dogs ONLY) but NO CHILDREN.

With shops, cafes, pubs and bus stops on your doorstep – and Charmouth’s famous fossil beach a 10 minute walk away – it’s the perfect base for exploring this beautiful stretch of Dorset. Whether you’re walking the South West Coast Path, visiting Lyme Regis (10 minutes by car), having a beach holiday, or simply unwinding by the sea, this cottage makes the ideal seaside escape.

Secluded hideaway, heated pool, walks, fossils

The Annex is bright, comfortable and cosy with a wood burner for winter. The public footpath crossing our garden next to the river Char links with many others - great for dog walkers. We are close to Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis – renowned for their fossil treasures. Love swimming? our freshwater pool is generally heated to a very cosy 29 - 30 degrees (warm bath temperature) and can be used from April to October With advance notice, the twin beds can be connected to form a king size bed

Pebble Cottage is a modern, 2024 new build ideally situated in the heart of the historical village of Charmouth. Only a short walk to the famous fossil beaches on the Jurassic Coast. The village also offers many amenities such as a convenience store, a pharmacy and a selection of eateries. It is a beautiful self catering, two bedroom cottage with a spacious living area and stylish kitchen. Outside, a peaceful paved area perfect for alfresco dining and private offroad parking for two cars.

Approx one hundred metres from UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘The Jurassic Coast’ and its famous fossil beaches. Broadlands is an ideal base to enjoy the beach and the beautiful countryside of West Dorset. Walk along the coast to Lyme Regis or inland along the river Char and into the beautiful hills of Dorset.

The Reading Room is a separate annex of The Old Chapel in the main High Street in Charmouth. It's within 60 steps to the High St. Charmouth Beach is approx 5 minutes stroll. A unique space with a huge vaulted ceiling spacious kitchen, dining/ living area, modern integrated appliances and a beautiful oak floor. It has parking for one vehicle and a small outdoor space to the side of the Chapel with blue table and chairs for 2 people. Be aware steps to the bed platform are steep.
