The house is a great stay and the host is fantastic! Kristen is very responsive, helpful, and even offered to extend our stay at a reduced rate. The house is right on the water with an amazing dock. The community is gated and has great amenities--we enjoyed the playground and the hiking trails. Definitely beats any hotel in the area!

This house was perfect for our family over Thanksgiving weekend. It was was clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect with multiple neighborhood amenities and the view from the back porch over the lake is stunning - especially if you catch the sunrise. Quick and easy communication with Mike. Highly recommend.

This spot had the most amazing view of the Lake and was so peaceful to enjoy. The property was well equipped and we enjoyed our time here so much we would stay here again. Perfect for a family we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Only recommendation would be to have extra blankets and pillows but everything else was top notch. We will be back!

Definitely 5++ star review. Everything we needed was already there. Best experience with Airbnb yet. Our family enjoyed everything Hardystone had to offer. We never had to turn on a TV because there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. From Ping Pong and Pool Tournaments to Paddle Boarding to S’mores by the fire! We will most definitely rent through this group again!

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. This was such a lovely Airbnb! Squeaky clean, walkable to beautiful Lake Junaluska and just a few minutes to hiking and downtown Waynesville. You can really tell Steve and Susie want their guests to have a five star stay with so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water, coffee, tea, half and half, biscotti’s card games and an abundance of books and guides about the area. There was a private table and chairs outside for a glass of wine or a meal which we loved and the bed was so comfortable. We visit this area often and we are so glad we have found our home away from home in Waynesville. Thank you Steve and Susie for hosting us! Blessings, Steve and Amy

logement bien situé, endroit calme et paisible au bord du lac Junaluska. Le lac est très beau entouré de montagnes. Waynesville est à côté avec tous les magasins nécessaires, l'accès à la blueridge parkway est à quelques minutes , parfait pour profiter de la vue sur les montagnes. Cherokee n'est pas loin et c'est appréciable de pouvoir rencontrer une nouvelle culture non européenne dans ce pays. le logement est propre et bien équipé, la terrasse est clairement un point positif. Le jardin est très beau avec beaucoup de fleurs. C'est un bon travail. Carolyn et son mari sont très gentils et très réactifs. Le dialogue est facile et les explications sont claires. J'espère revenir en automne afin de voir les couleurs de la forêt.

This was a perfect location - a couple friends and I just needed a quiet place to stay for a few days while in the area to do some fishing on nearby lakes. Connie's place is serene, beautiful, and very close to town while enjoying the benefits of being countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and the property is really nicely taken care of!

The apartment was tastefully furnished, beds were amazingly comfortable and the location was private and peaceful, yet close to everything downtown. Staci responded promptly to messages and left clear instructions for everything. The lake and the hike to the bird sanctuary were serene. This place is an absolute gem.

Beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful woods right above Lake Hartwell that has everything you ever dreamed of and is wonderful for any time of the year! The owners are really friendly and have equipped the space with everything you need for a perfect stay, great for both vacation and remote work. The two-story indoor space is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The spacious upstairs porch with table, chairs, grill, and TV is also a great living and working area. Plus there’s a covered dock with chairs to enjoy the lake scene while soaking up the sun, kayaks to explore the inlets, and even a firepit for well-rounded outdoor living!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

Blueberry Cottage was all we had hoped for a stop on our long road trip to move across the country. Very homey and our dog Tommy loved it and warmed right up to the space. Plenty of room for multiple guests, private back porch which was so peaceful to wake up and have coffee. Stocked with everything you could need. Thank you for sharing your home, Heather!
