"Sky’s Place" Northern Lights & Alaskan Charm

Welcome to Sky’s Place. This little gem with its Alaskan charm is located just 20 minutes from grocery, local bars and restaurants. 60 min to Chena Hot Springs and 2 hours to Denali National Park. It’s a perfect romantic getaway or a cozy place to enjoy with friends. We are up in the hills facing north without city lights, allowing spectacular northern light viewing. Lots of beautiful wood accents, natural light and room darkening shades. When possible, I can offer flexible check in/out times.

Modern town-home with beautiful river views. Prime location. Ride bikes downtown along the riverfront bike path. Triplex comes with 4 bicycles to be shared. Short walk to Hoo Doo Brewery, Pioneer Park, and the Carlson Center. 5+ minute drive to UAF, airport, downtown, and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Grill dinner on the riverfront patio. Spacious and fully stocked kitchen, large walk-in shower, fast Wi-Fi, and a high-end queen bed with designer linens. Coin-op washer/dryer. No pets, no smoking.

Cozy 1 bedroom 1 bathroom private home, just outside of town only a couple miles from the airport. Close to great trails for hiking and cross country skiing, but outside of town enough to get a great show from the Northern Lights. Newly updated with a quiet environment, perfect get away. Full size washer/dryer, and all kitchen needs. A beautiful Alaskan property which you can watch float planes land and take off from the private pond across the road. Large windows for great views! Pets Allowed!

Welcome to the Nuthatch Cabin

Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

This beautifully designed tree house is perfect for your romantic getaway. Designed by "Treehouse Masters" Pete Nelson, this build is packed with tons of architectural whimsy.The treehouse has a queen sized bed upstairs that is accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a kitchenette with a keurig coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven/air fryer, mini fridge and hot plate. There is no running water in the treehouse so there a gray water system for the sink. The treehouse is located in Fairbanks.

Explore the Golden Heart City from this adorable little cabin! Nestled in the hills of Goldstream you'll feel like you're deep in the wilderness but you'll be within 10 minutes from town. You'll feel like a real Alaskan here! No visible neighbors is such a peaceful feeling. Step outside onto the porch and sip your coffee while listening to the dog sled teams howling. You’ll likely see squirrels, birds, possibly a frog! If you're lucky you might catch some Northern Lights.

We aren’t fancy but we are the real Alaskan deal! Charming, tidy artist’s cottage nestled in rustic woods, close to town, minutes to world class Aurora viewing and a gateway to Denali. One bedroom, loft, bath, kitchen, living room, deck, shared garden/barbecue area, and surrounding forest. Relaxing, rugged off-grid atmosphere...an Alaskan home away from home! Northern Lights Adventure Cabin

The peace, quiet and fresh air will envelop you with tranquility but invite you to explore what’s just outside the door. Have morning coffee on the deck to leisurely start your day then sit around the fire at night while you relive the days adventures. It’s far enough from the city lights for northern lights viewing when they’re out. No smoking of any kind on the premises at all. Pets allowed with prior permission only. We’re only 4.4 miles the airport.

Casa Tanana

Wilderness and Aurora views close to town - A charming cedar shake house perched on a bluff overlooking the Tanana River with a view of the Alaska Range mountains and northern lights when the weather permits. About 2000 square feet with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Maximum occupancy in winter is 5 people if one person is willing to sleep on the very comfortable couch. Aurora viewable from within house if weather and aurora activity cooperate.

Chalet in the Hills

Stylish 3 bedroom/ 2 bath Chalet in the hills above Fairbanks 12 minutes from the airport, 15 from downtown. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Alaska Range, Chena and Tanana Rivers from the massive deck. Elevation well above city lights makes for great aurora viewing in winter months Explore Chena Ridge with your own trail through acres of birch forest behind the house.
