Meget autentisk hjem i lille landsby midt i bjergene, med smuk have og en bæk der løber langs huset og fornyer vandet i den lille pool. Godt udgangspunkt for ture til fods eller på scooter ud i det smukke landskab. Huset er enkelt indrettet, men er indrettet med alt nødvendigt. Jeg nød freden og skønheden i hele den uge, jeg tilbragte der (forlængede endda mit ophold).

Airbnb had different location but the host came and picked us up. Easy to locate if you have the right directions. Otherwise the host is super friendly and recommend to stay.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thai Homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam.Staying here was so much more than just finding a place to sleep — it was about connecting deeply with the Thai minority culture in a way we never expected. The homestay itself is exactly like the pictures — beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the people. Tam prepared amazing meals every day — full of local flavors, fresh ingredients, and love. Even though the family speaks little English, communication was never a barrier. We’ll never forget the grandmother weaving traditional scarves in the evening, her calm rhythm matching the serenity of the village. Or being offered fresh jackfruit and grilled bananas as we sat on the porch. Mr. Tunc took us hiking through the most breathtaking scenery — green rice fields, banana plants, bamboo water mills.. Yen helped us arrange a private driver from Hanoi to Pu Luong and back! Thanks a lot!

Lovely and serene place away from the city. The host is very responsive and helpful - arranged transportation for us as well as activities etc and was always on hand when needed. The staff on site are also very friendly. Thank you for having us!

cool place walking distance to the villages and picturesque paddy fields

This is by far the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed. It’s more than any regular homestay! Location is about 30mins away from Mai Chau central. Although it’s a little bit far out, the homestay is properly equipped with all the necessities that you need. The homestay also offers bicycles which you can ride around and explore the area. If you would like to go out further, the receptionist can also hire motorbikes or taxis which is very convenient. It was a nice experience to stay slightly away from the central as we get to live with the locals and ride around and enjoy some of the best landscapes in Mai Chau. The homestay also serves some of the BEST dishes we have had in Vietnam so far. After chatting with the host, we found out that it’s her own recipe which makes it even more precious! The food serves here is definitely one of the highlight of our Mai Chau trip! If you are staying over the weekend, do have dinner at the homestay as you will get to enjoy some local performances! :-)
